completely ignoring the lack of launch limits that the AIM-120D does not get cucked by

The AIM-120D does not need as much datalink because of the GNSS, and is that worth six missiles? That is why I said that the average player will probably perform better in the Typhoon, but very good players will probably take the higher missile count and better speed of the F-15EX. And the AIM-120D does not have the launch limits of the AIM-120C-5, which is really important in 1v1s.

still with this nonsense.

For 16v16 air rb the high speed and missile count of the F-15EX will make it a very handholdy plane for sure.

lack of launch limits is the biggest thing too
even with a meh radar gimbal, the lack of launch limits is a superior feature compared to higher gimbal overall

Vehicles aren’t about need.
Need can speed up additions to War Thunder, BUT additions are primarily about vehicles being cool.

To paraphrase a dev: “We add vehicles that are interesting.”

lack of launch limits is a marginal difference though, especially on the ef2k which is a very agile aircraft.

Anyways I’ll always pick an eagle over a ef2k because the eagle turns into a brick at high speed so I can make wide mach 1.5+ zoom zooms also its nose doesn’t wobble like ef2k. Honestly shooting and breaking and then pouncing on the enemy+ shooting down gets me most kills so in this situation it’s fine to have non obscene gimbal limits.

Not every aircraft needs to be an entry fragger like ef2k or su30sm2

entry fragging is the ex main advantage though

F-15EX will only be insufferable due to the hype surrounding it. Once it calms down, I would imagine the field will level for EF2K vs F-15EX.

its just going to add a new aircraft to the meta, its not going to be insufferable with the new brs

No, it’s a massive one.
lack of launch limits means you only barely need to leave the notch, vs launch limits that mean you actually have to point your nose closer to the target

It also means that with a terribile lock you can still get a missile launch off instantly

Imagine if every ARB lobby you play in at 15.0 is filled up with Golden Eagles. Then add better engines and a marginally improved radar to that too. It’ll be insufferable for a hot minute until it calms down.

Already suffered through 14 missile sm2 lobbies

Exactly. Main reason I’m probably not going to touch ARB for a hot minute after the update drops once I’ve spaded the EX.

you cant be real lol, you dont need to even remotely point to the target.

High missile count meta was a mistake

compared to a missile with 0 launch limits?
Yes, yes you do

there is no such thing as a “low missile count meta” when it comes to top tier, its impossible.

Most of the current metas were a mistake tbh
