From what I understand it’s only going onto the F-35A in the USAF fleet. It’s AGM-88C carriage comes from the upgrades done for the F-15SA. Boeing are exploring the possibility of integration as part of a study as to whether or not the F-15EX could be a successor to the Growler as Hornet lines get shut down.

It probably could, it uses the same data busses as other HARMs, and it uses the same mounting lugs used on JDAMs and GBUs. But the AGM-88G is the Navy’s missile, so it would make more sense to give it the AGM-88J SiAW, which is the Air Force’s missile. Although they would likely just be identical in game aside from the name.

uhh… no? most famous example is f-16 being used primarily for SEAD, alongside the navy’s primary example of the EF/A-18G
And the USAF adopted it. But with the AARGM-ER and SiAW, they are going a different route by making their own version, though it is still based off the AARGM-ER.
Personally I wouldn’t mind it getting either one, but I would prefer if they gave it the AGM-88J because that would be more accurate in my eyes. And the F-16 could get it as well.
My point is it started out as Navy before extending to F-16 and later F-15
Nothing stopping them from doing the same with F-15EX, they’re already doing it with the F-35. It already has the foundations for easy integration with literally anything in inventory.

Uh, yes.
The E/A-18G is an EW platform, not a dedicated SEAD aircraft in the same way that the F-16CJ is. All -18 airframes are used in the SEAD mission, not just the Growler.

Yeah there’s nothing stopping them from doing it, they just aren’t doing it. For whatever reason, the air force just thinks its a better idea to make their own missile. And I couldn’t tell you why that is, because I am not an AF general with access to that kind of information lol.
First, why is MrKrabsPattys like always the most upset player for every addition, like why does he still play war thunder if he gets mad seemingly every time a new addition is added.
Also I am parroting myself from a bit earlier in this discussion, and every other major update almost but, hold the, WE out of this lol. There is like less than 3-5 people out of the what I have to presume is at least 100 or more individual users in this topic thread that hold his opinion.
While the dude is a special kind of stupid for his takes and comes off like a prick. Lets not pretend like the entire player base is against Israeli players, and that their facing some sort of prosecution its a bit dramatic.
Almost every nation when similar addition comes in across several tech trees, all will tend to have a few players complain about either its existence in game, or its supposed better capabilities, (in their mind.) it should not have.
Similar minor complaints from like 2-5 people from past majors existed to, small groups of players for every nation have been annoying in this sense for years.

i.e. Original f15’s had like 2 people consistently complain about the J being better, EFT complaining about some getting radars they don’t have in service yet or missiles, EFT and rafale players arguing over capability’s that should be unfairly removed or added to one or the other, German players arguing over another nation getting a slightly better leopard like almost every time a new top tier one is added, and premium su30’s.
It’s simply just extreme fan or users of ANY nation, (typically though one related to the addition) that cause this issue then other players pretend its the majority and purposefully or not lead to more discourse.
I don’t mean this in a bad sense, but your kinda the only one pushing that narrative, obviously not by your own word, but by not ignoring the people everyone else know to ignore, because they are rage baiting or likely 12-14 year olds.

Their existence literally changed nothing regarding how gaijin handled this situation, nor will it ever affect other additions by Gaijin.
Gaijin will remove features based off their own will and internal predictions, features like MAWS they themselves cant prove it, they themselves also didn’t plan to allow 16 missiles on the IA anyways, it was not these 2-5 players have a chokehold on gaijin.
Separately, writing in a way that acts hostile to everyone because of 2-5 players words, only serves to make others not want to agree with you or support your takes.
On an unrelated note is he aware we got the F16 AJ like years ago at this point yet, and that was more imaginary for Japanese service, I don’t think anyone can say a actual procurement contract for 2030 of the IA means it is imaginary when compared to the F16 AJ, which is already in game.
Does the EX actually have IRST have i just never noticed that IRL, like where did that come from lol.

It has the Legion IRST pod it can carry, and it also has an IRST pod integrated into the pylon that carries the Sniper TGP. Aside from that, it does not have any IRST actually built into the airframe.

The American ones often carry the legion pod but the Tiger Eyes I think was only carried by American F-15Cs and foreign eagles.
It’s getting the tiger eyes as that’s the easiest implementation for Gaijin at the moment. Hopefully it gets the pod soon, I need it on the hornet…
Also I find it funny that some people think that Gaijin actually makes changes like that just because of people who main (insert country here) crying about it. If they did, then the Abrams would have significantly better armor, the Leopard 2A7V and 2A8 also have better armor, the Leopard 2A8 would be getting LWS, there would be no Abrams or Leopard outside of their home trees, the Leopard 2 PSO would have much better armor, the Challenger 2 spall liners would be fixed, etc.
Oh and China would have a lot more domestic tanks.

Always was going to get the LEGION pod. Tiger eyes was for export eagles mostly but I remember seeing an advanced eagle with it, I don’t remember if it was F-15EX or SA though
