On which airframe…?
The Apaches.
Saw a picture of an F18 carrying brimstone looking missiles, not sure if that was the JAGM or something else
That was the JAGM. Brimstones were already denied for Apaches. JAGM already has a MMW mode anyway.
I’m aware, I’m mainly referring to the future when mmw inevitably comes to the game.
Then it’d come on the JAGM…?
isn’t brimstones 2 and 3 better?
boeing did fit checks for brimstone on the hornet in early 2000’s
Ah.
Off a helicopter? Probably splitting hairs.
if it can carry 2 on each MRML here = 4
and it can carry 2 on stations 1 & 9 each = 4, plus 2 more on stations 8 & 2 each = 4, plus 4 on the fuselage, then it can carry more than 12 because that’s 16. We all know this is for balancing reasons. So when even better 5th gens are added, it can get 16 120’s and move up in BR. It’s not rocket science, it’s rocket arithmetic.
Why? Why does it need to get more munitions when 5th gens show up? 12 is perfectly fine.
boeing says it can only carry 12
that is a primary source
so unless you have a picture of mire than 12 amraams being carried at once it dosent matter
Apparently the brimstone 3 will have a better IOG than it’s predecessor so that would be quite awesome to have.
Assuming agms are fully modeled, the jagm offers flexibility where as the brimstones would offer accuracy if lock is lost.
(bottom row)
bros treating this like a driving exam lmfao
uh, thats not a standard, why does the su30sm carry kh38? why does the mi28nm get 8 lmurs?
lol have you actually attempted to use the IOG on Brimstones
why does the eft carry 8 amraams too
only manufacturer number for it is 6
is this true?
yep
all the primary sources that give a number say 6
but because a MFD in a simulator cockpit showed dual racks those are in game now
funny nobody mentions that but they keep sticking to the “boeing said 12 so it can only get 12” story, pretty annoying honestly
