But how accurate is it? From what I’ve heard it’s a good bit less accurate than the horizontal part. That difference in accuracy doesn’t really matter for a smart watch but it does for a missile and you also have to take into account possibly getting GPS jammed which also affects accuracy.

Why would its BR increase? Its already barely 11.3 worthy and is only really hanging on at that BR by a thread. It needs a number of buffs to maintain that BR

It might give it justification for being truly 11.3 and not 11.0. Let alone 11.7 that half of them are at already or even the GR4 at 12.3.

F15C would be fine with AIM 120B it would be pushed to 14.0 finally
F15E doesnt need buffs other than maybe FM

A and B are 100% identical in-game and there isnt suffecient evidence to suggest any meaningful differences IRL

RB71 is a skyflash but A and B were upgrades to them, RB 73 is essentially Meteor but older so would be too difficult to balance like a lot of swedish munitions for air.

I know there are documents for them but RB 73 should have a more modern seeker than just RB 71, Jaden would be more knowledgeable on the subject.

Just like IRL (Only difference is that 120B can be re-programmed in the field but the 120A can’t)

The basic problem is that there is no ECM in the game …period.
Not even radar flooding , which is way simpler… and it gives having a strong radar a meaning, in game there is no strong radar… there is less bugged radar.
The reason they haven’t add them , in reality, is that either they can’t find a proper implementation in the game, or they just support the arcadification in higher tiers…because Timmy will come to Ace Combat .
However, if proper radars and ECM and ECCM come in the game… the whole tiering system for the modern planes will need an overhaul and what we will get as a MM will be more into historical side of things. Imagine even GR.3 Harrier could get Sky Shadow… would it be 9,7 or something like 11,7?

Tbf gaijin admitted the Elde’s mobility isn’t possible in the game engine so i wouldn’t be suprised if ECM and such just isn’t possible with the Dagor engine. It is strange how many vehicles do have their ECM pods modeled.

I understand the game engine has limitation…
But interference and cluttering happen already. The biggest problem is, that if you don’t have strong radar you’ll have problem with another 31 planes going full on emitting signals everywhere in such a small space like the maps they give. On the other hand , that will give space for actual dogfights. And there is always the ECCM at play…like IRCCM.
I don’t think they can’t picture ECM and ECCM , even if it’s not 100% or a very raw take on the matter.
It’s just they need to change many mechanics around that fact and most likely the MM … which they don’t want to.
