I’m curious what the devs are reviewing about BOL pods for the F-15C GE. I assume they already know the historical precedent behind adding them, seeing as they’ve been proven to be present on American F-15s in service. The only other conclusion I can draw is that they’re questioning whether it would be balanced or not to add BOL to the F-15.
To that extent I would point to the Eurofighter and Rafale’s flight performance relative to the F-15C. The airframe does not perform nearly as well as the Eurocanards, so there has to be something to make up for that lack of performance. Extra (small caliber) CMs wouldn’t immediately solve every one of the F-15C’s problems, but it would help to make it a little more competitive.
I am also curious if they have discussed the FM buffs presented by GeneralLee2000 for the F-15C family.
Generally speaking, it would be nice to know if we should expect either of these things to come this patch or not.

They’re better than a lot of the 5th gen ir missiles already in game…
I’d take it over a iris t, python 5 and camm (seekerhead is arh but it’s kinematic are horrendous which should be better than asraam due to less drag)
Aim9x is not the worse IR missile, when it only comes on the Slamraam,
And if your going to implement it in game it is going to best one of the missles, even overpowered, even if it just block 1

It still lacks an offensive edge compared to the F-15E which primary role isn’t even air superiority. I’d pick the Strike Eagle any day of the week against the current F-15C GE.

Yes… Perfect the F-14D’s IRST now and then add it to both when the F-14D gets added next major update.
LMAO i hate to give bad news for you but the F-14D will most likely be a premium or event vehicle because they like money

As long as it gets AMRAAMs I’m happy.
Though I doubt Event Vehicle because they’re going to want to promote it heavily, and we already have a event F-14.
Obviously I’d rather it be TT though.

I want to ask that the F15C GE AESA radar dont have the NCTR in TWS mode in the Dev server , is this mean that it dont have that function ?
