F-15 Eagle: History, Performance & Discussion

British mains: Typical US players, always begging for everything in the world.

Also British mains: One time, my uncle saw an F22 at an airshow so we should get it before the US.

i wouldnt call an InfaRed Search and Track a weapon but rather a sensor

the IRIS-T (Infra Red Imaging System Tail/Thrust Vector-Controlled) is a weapon tho

Indeed, I think it will compliment Su-35S in USSR tech tree nicely.

I stopped taking a lot of the British mains seriously when some of them tried to argue that the Centauro RGO needed to go to the British tree and later them saying that Britain had more need for the F-15SG than Israel.

(No matter where anyone stands regarding the overall placement argument of the F-15SG, most sensible players would agree that Israeli top tier air is in a far worse place than British top tier air)

EDIT: Now we wait and see if the Council of British Suffering also flags these posts into the shadowrealm, some don’t like it when you call out their hypocrisy.

Tbf it doesn’t apply to all of us, hence why some get annoyed being stereotyped

Asking for F-15SG/SA while knowing that India will provide them with Rafale and Su-30mki while also having Eurofighter is quite absurd.

Both aren’t guaranteed. More likely we’ll get “Indian” aircraft and not export/export with domestic modifications

Tell me you didn’t read the entire post, without saying you didn’t read the entire post:

Ok I did not read that part, my bad

just like the Su-35 in the chinese tree

They have it, so i don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be added.

Yes, there are several photos of IRIS-T on a couple of different airframes, with multiple angles of each plane shown in series. It’d be a lot of effort to fake it that way instead of just making one image.

Photos are by Hatem Altamimi

Does F-15E/EX carry any towed radar decoy?

As part of the ALQ-184(V)9, which can be configured to carry the ALE-50 TRD, all F-15E’s are certified.

it’s referenced as one of the certified airframes on the first page of;

There were some people actually saying it should go to the UK though no?

israel should

Idk about the others, but I’m just trolling.

Outside of what India would bring for GB as the only other subtree besides Australia (pls gaijin add researchable Indian vehicles!), there’s no need for an F-15 in GB. We have the Eurofighters, we already have Hornets and a Super Hornet, we could potentially have a Rafale or Su-30MKI and the many domestically made Indian fighters. There’s nothing that a Saudi F-15 could do capability wise that an aircraft (or several, with differing effectiveness) in the GB tree couldn’t.

As what, though? Saudi alongside Greece and Cyprus as a subtree?

Personally I wouldn’t mind it. Would give Israel a lot more vehicles and more reasons for other people to grind it. Most people don’t because it’s basically USA 2.0.

I wonder whether F-15SA will receive inner wing MRML or if its other features will be used to make it a slight downgrade to the F-15EX or a sidegrade to an AESA F-15E

F-15SG is Singaporean no?

Yes, but not what I’m/many others are referring to
