F-15A/J are missing NCTR, the Baz Meshupar has worse NCTR than it should: Community Bug Reporting System
wtf, they denied it because the radar is missing something else it should have
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/QXz6Gyt7TzIq
“It is intended that F-15A radar does not have TWS mode.”
how are they insane enough to use that to deny bug reports
probably the way theyre justifying is by saying that it’s an earlier version of the radar.
For example, next update, su-30sm and su-30mkm have the same radar, but su-30mkm will get reduced target tracking and half the datalink channels as the su-30mkm got the early n011m while su-30sm got the later n011m
not saying its right, I just think its their explanation
Only way they can force players to remember the f15A exclusive RAM SRC mode while locked lol.
But yeah the words, “It is intended that F-15A radar does not have TWS mode” is an insane thing, if they approved the report or said passed as suggestion but that it was an intentional decision it would have been fine the f15 PD is already god tier for that BR.
But the fact they denied it because it was done for intentional (I’m assuming balance) reasons is dumb the sources were there its something that should exist that should at minimum get it approved to the 3 year minimum report purgatory for possible future reevaluations on the feature.
The devs have decided it will have an early version of the radar, even if not historical. Unless we get TWS, we will not get NCTR.
The hilarious thing is that the F-15A didn’t get the radar until 1994. So IRL it definitely would have had both. This just gaijin going lmao, we want it to be like this basically

Can’t fix stupid…
NCTR is not dependent on TWS
But the same can be said for IFF in STT yet here we are
Shouldn’t the f-15e technically get the agm-84?
It technically should

is this statshark being wrong or me misreading something?

because if not that seems to be showing both Vmax and VNE are too low
can you show the bottom of the statshark graph, can’t really make a comparison if the x axis for speed is cut off
definitely seems like it then. lemme go try this in game though rq just to verify
correction Vmax seems close for the right altitude a bit slow but not too bad, but VNE still seems off
actually still a bit low at the higher altitude

and it does so for the whole ebvelope
which is alot easier than permanently changing the altitude for the engine performance chart
