to be fair, it was not even the best f16 FM VS the best 29 FM with r73s. and the 16 still won. blk 10 would’ve cooked 29 even more
I wish
It was a direct comparison between the ADF( before AIM-120) and a MiG-29 with R-73s.
And it still shows why the R-73 is what puts the MiG-29G at 13.0, and not the ER.
Even in a completely 1-sided, non-EC scenario, the MiG-29 holds its own well enough that it would go up even if they took it’s ERs and traded them for R-73s.
I wonder how people even came to that number
Bro couldn’t even win in the merge were he shot a r27 bc he couldn’t win otherwise
yeah ik i watched squishes video on it
It would be quad racks on all 4 wing stations for Advanced Eagles and then 4 of the double CFT ones
Not even possible lol
that is such a cursed image in my head lmao
It’s more because people think you can 4 rack the Centerline pylon.
Even with amber you would only get 2 there, if any, which with 1 & 9 brings your total to 22.
Trade all performance just to hold a fraction of what a jet can carry in ace combat.
Imagine an F-15 scraping along the runway with that
Nah it would clear just fine.
Really? The quad racks seem pretty tall but I guess the F-15 is also really tall
we actually have more documentation for those than the 38mt
the double racks for the r77 are actually in service that’s completely different like u said
only issue is that they physically wouldn’t fit in the air frames… that aren’t the su35
Much shorter than a centerline tank for comparison
The hornet having 12 missiles Is the only reason it’s even viable lmao
Because pylon drag isn’t modeled ingame
If it were the F18 would be even slower
It’s modelled afaik(actually NVM I think only the pylons itself have drag but not the weapons), and amber racks would go to f15e/ex, those aircraft don’t care they have the excess thrust, 24 amraams means that if you get in a fight with an f15 you essentially loose on endurance, and if they engage you first? Get ready to be perma defensive.
