Yeah there is a video of a Gripen performing a cobra and it ended up crashing because of it can’t perform one without losing control since it wasn’t meant for that kind of performance but the Gripen E probably could but am not sure

I’m not particularly interested in CFTs, other than their effect on the flight envelope of the aircraft.
But there are more types of CFTs. I think the ones on the F-15C were more aerodynamic
I am trying to find information about CFT versions and smart weapons on outboard CFT stations. How many versions exist? How they differ? And etc.
Currently from Eagle talk i know about Dash 2 3 and 4.
Dash 2 and 3 is for 15C
Dash 4 is for 15E(from 80s).
But how many versions were made from 80s?
Does -5CFT in 93 flight manual means Dash-5 CFT?
What CFT versions add smart wiring on inboard row?

“CFT-3 is a clean CFT like the ones the F-15C used in Alaska and Iceland, CFT-4 is the one with all of the A2G pylons and compatible with the F100-PW-220, CFT-5 is the one with all of the A2G pylons and compatible with the F100-PW-229”

Does another versions of CFT exist?
in a dogfight performing a cobra is basically giving yourself to your opponent because it only works in certain scenarios like forcing an overshoot but if you fail you ended up dumbing all you energy and you are now falling off the sky
cobra is mostly used in airshows or for landings (there is a video of a su 33 doing a cobra in order to slow to land on a aircraft carrier since the runways is very short )
