I’d argue the F4F ICE is a great pick for 13.0 fox-3 equipped jets, as it has a strong radar, good missile set and count, and pretty decent flight performance when compared to the other 13.0 fox-3 carriers

lmao the only reason the f14b made sense at 12.7 is the really annoying(and bugged) radar, f14d with a good radar and good irst makes NO sense at 12.7.

AiM-54C are not worth taking in Todays 13.0 because any player with an RWR will avoid them successfully, some even unintentionally
Fakour 90 are Infinitely betrer and exist at the same BR on a Mostly similar platform
the only thing that could’ve made the F-14D competitive at the BR it would’ve been at was AiM-120A @ BR 13.3/13.7
(Reminder that other Gen. 3 Aircraft also have AMRAAM at 13.0 with improved radars)

This is true for every single Fox-3 missile.
Because they are Gen 3 aircrafts, half of them takes 3-5 business days to do a proper notch, other half will be falling out of the air after the first one. F-14 has neither of such weaknesses. Moreover, outside of undertiered Su-30, 13.3 aircrafts have some sort of weakness in them, be it low CM count (F-16ADF), Brick Supreme flight model (MiG-29SMT) or limited overall amount of missiles. F-14D meets non of those, with AIM-120s it would be straight up a 13.7 aircraft

there is the jf17, mig 29, J-11A, JA37DI,f16 ADF(other nations variants), F-16D Barak II and su30mkk/mk2 are not 3rd generation aircraft and have a good fm just like the f14D if not better also the f14D rwr and f110 engine are the same as the f14B’s and didn’t get improved. the biggest upgrade(not gonna include every thing it got irl) for the f14D was it getting digital avionics, new armaments and radar/irst but this hardly made the difference in game that the f14D is in the same br as the f14B.With the addition of the su30mk2/mkk gajin showed us we can have 6 fox 3 and 2 fox 2 at 13.3 so F14D can be 13.3 with 6x120A,2x 9M/bolpods

Yet people still die to f90/aim54 so even with the nerf it’s still a good missile to use as I haven’t heard of su30mkk players switching their pl12 for r77
You act like some of those aircraft don’t have agility to maneuver and have a better rcs or ir signature compared to the f14D and the bol pods really only work if you use multiple cm at once since they also got nerfed like I said gajin already shown 6 fox3 and 2 fox 2 is possible for 13.3.
The f14D FM to me is comparable to the f16A ADF

6 missiles + 45 countermeasures is clearly the same as 8 missiles + 380 countermeasures.
just like how a fat very early 4th gen flight model is comparable to one of the best dogfighters in the game
