F-14D BR is criminal, it’s an 12.7 and is better than all 12.7s

Can anyone explain to me why it was decided the F-14D which is better than the F-14 IRIAF, and F-14B, and loads of other aircraft is at 12.7?

Meanwhile the F-14 IRIAF and others are at 13.0? Or higher?

4x aim-9M, 4x AIM-54C+ and a slew of extra munitions, and upgraded radar suite, and around 720 countermeasures….

The F-18C for example only receives 60 cms, and Aim-9Ls.

Now I’m not sayin the F-18 needs a buff, rather I’m saying the F-14D is criminally under br’d.

Extremely for Sim battles…

I think the answer is quite simple. Gaijin has totally forgotten about Air Sim since the great compression and failed to move all of the F-14s to more appropriate BRs, Especially after they finally added a 12.3 bracket (which has resulted in the F-14A being 12.3 not Psuedo-12.7).

F-14B/D gaining 9M this last major update is just an extension of that. It got an upgrade that should warrant it being higher, but alas, they simply forgot Air Sim even exists.

Probably should be 13.0 until decompression occurs and aircraft like the Premium Su-30s move up higher.

Oh ok, he only mentions Sim at the end, so I wasn’t sure if the whole post was about Sim or that was just a side note.

and better engine… and other players cry iraf is good in 13.3 br because fakur is op yeah is good but u no have a normal ir missile and low amiunt of countermasure + in this br 80% maches play vs 13.7 or 14.0 planes good luck

the IRAF isnt 13.3 in air sim either

its 13.0 but yes its stronger than all of its peers at the same BR (other than the 12.7 F-15. that is a BS vehicle)

tomcats as a whole are undertiered for what they can do.

F-18C isn’t 12.7 in Sim it’s the same BR as the other Late hornets, sure it’s missing better AMRAAMS and it has no HMS and no CAS but it’s 14.0

I think it’s equal for the

F-14A = F-14A IRIAF

F-14B ≠ F-14D (as the F-14D is just better)

F-18C early, and F-14D are both 12.7 in sim.

And as per usual, since the F-14D is so good, blue for was already filled up, now it’s currently impossible to get a Bluefor side match.
