In tws the radar locks and stops working when you try to launch the aim-54A or you manage to launch the first one and then locks the radar. I think it might be the tagert poit that activates along with tws.

why is there so little resonance on this issue. I mean you can somehow make the plane work and get kills but the main strength of the plane (bvr with aim54s using the full scope of the radar to notch and loose enemy locks while still beeing able to tws soft lock guide your missiles to pitbull range) is nearly completely negated
