Does it really need any evaluation? 4-4.5 gen monsters fighting planes from the 70s and 80s, c’mon.
Dare I say 14.7 is FAR from enough. +0.3 BR here and there to accommodate new planes “makes space” to the new additions (ridiculous matchups still happen) but other issues ALL AROUND rank 6-7 still remain, i.e F-15 and F-18 vs F-4 Phantoms.
I’d really like to see Gaijin holding votes here in this forum or on their website asking the playerbase about BR range and decompression… I wonder why they don’t do that.

Matching up against a su-33 in an F4 phantom is a joke…
While it holds 12 very good missiles (the r27s might be the hardest to notch), you have 8 missiles…
While it has tws mode you don’t even have an mti search mode…
Or for example you can match up against the kfir C10 which has TWS ESA mode and even has FOX3 MISSILES (also the derbis are NOT considered as a bad missile at all) and a 53 type NCTR…
A change where they implement you can’t uptier more than 0.4 is becoming more and more necessary.
In ground battles this problem isn’t really annoying because you can kill anyone from the side or destroy it’s barrel, but with planes its not that easy. Also even if it’s easier with tanks to play in an uptier
it is still UNFAIR.
And about the queue time no it wouldn’t increase the queue time. I bet if they would implement this feature the playerbase would become bigger since I know and see (even a few of my friends) quit just because the game is not fair and also as we all can see more than 180k people are online and over 4k matches are running currently. They already have enough playerbase to implement this feature without drastically increasing the queue time.
I really hope they will consider this change in the near-future…
To be honest… I dont know why you are singling out the Gripen E which is probably about right in terms of BR but just ignoring the premium Su-30s at 13.3. Encountered one in the Tornado Gr4 yesterday, most stupid thing ever
Yeah that’s the type of stuff I meant when I said “other issues all around ranks 6-7”. There are A TON of other ridiculous matchups in Ground, Air and Naval. I thought about mentioning the premium Su-30s specifically and other examples too, but the wall of text was big enough.
wait it isn’t even possible for them to match against in ARB unless something outside like a person they squadded up with is a higher BR lol.
like the Gripen is still a cursed match up to almost every 13.0 fox 1 and 2 slingers don’t get me wrong but weird hook/focus on the F14A match up despite it not even being possible without outside factors
