9M Missing report accepted 5 month. Now its still didnt add. I dont know why gaijin didnt give 9m to F-14B.

Probably saving it for an f-14d. Although, why even add f-14d atp, no hmd, stuck with phoenix with 120a seekerhead, although mprf will be nice ig. Probably gaijin will shove it at 13.3 and call it a day. Unless they give phoenixes bank to turn, it’s doa. And the loft code on the phoenix is horrendous

I just waiting for the A late model with 9M,7P and the D model with 120A. It would be great to see 2 iconic
Tomcat model in the game. Just like Draken that have a lot of variat in game.

I’ve tested the 360 time and trust me the Tomcat can preform :) With sim controls. When they added that auto-flap feature in turns it made it harder but not impossible

Tbh i prefer doing the test in realistic since thats what 90% of the playerbase plays
But yeah even when i did it in realistic i hit the benchmark pretty easily
Normally I just see him pop in for little quips so that’s why I asked
i can do both technical discussion and normal game discussion since i lurk a lot and play the game a lot, but this is getting off topic

The F-14A is underperforming at altitude, the F-14B seems about right?
It’s also definitely not a myth that the F-14B is slower, it absolutely is and won’t hit Mach 2.3+.
The F-14A should be able to go pas Mach 2.15 while clean. So far, there aren’t any level flight envelopes I could find while clean, so they probably modeled it after the 4x 4x loadout. However, this isn’t correct in 2 ways, as the F-14 VNE speed is around 2.4-2.5 and not 2.25, and also because the F-14A has a top speed rated for Mach 2.34 at a minimum and has seen higher speeds like 2.6 without the loss of the airframe. This bugreport aims to fix that.
And the F-14B can go past 2.3 Mach. Thats a common myth that it cannot. During certification tests it would have to of gotten to Mach 2.34 or over or it wouldn’t have that rating anymore. Thats one of the original requirements from the F-14 program.
I guess the F-14A is slightly faster than the B/D, but in terms of Mach 2.34-Mach 2.4 capability, both check that box pretty easily.
TLDR: F-14A = Mach 2.34-2.6 - F-14B/D = Mach 2.34-2.4
I see, perhaps it would be easier to split it cleanly in two sections, firstly the VNE needs to be fixed to M2.34 * 1.05
Secondly, Clean the F-14A isnt fast enough.
