Practically their saying the su33 doesn’t have a good fm and their using dogfights to say it doesn’t have a good fm when im trying to say the su33 does and dogfights isn’t everything that justifies that a plane does have good fm
The argument is framed poorly, it is not about the FM, it is about the other FM’s that it fights. We can compare, but arguing about skills in a dogfight is irrelevant and if the argument is between two people maybe they can hash it out in a 1v1 instead.
Otherwise I don’t see how it is relevant to the F-14 thread, I’d prefer if we discussed something else like what will set the F-14D apart from the other aircraft we think it might be paired with. Idk, just a thought.

I wasn’t only arguing about skills in dogfights only that the su33 has good speed/acceleration and could hang with other planes in dogfights or when turning in general even tho it does bleed speed it has good acceleration to bring it back up witch is why I’m saying it does have a great flight performance

dogfights at toptier are almost non existant and highly rare and are ususally one sided SU33 flight model is very good for dogfights as it can pull a lot for missile shots which how dogfights go at that br which is just missile fighting not much BVR to be seen
tho the SU33 is a bvr demon

F-14A Radar so many ghost contacts even when hard locked I am locking nothing as that Su-30 is now somewhere else the Radar cannot have been that poor in the real world
must be a recent issue, i never had that problem with f14s, the radar sucks but i never had ghost contacts
and even if it wasnt an ufo the r27er are CRAZY good at close range, they pull very hard, tbh even now that 13.0 is crazy compressed because of the p2w 13.3 su27 is still not unplayable
I don’t think it’s so much as ghost contacts but so much as it picks up bombs and missiles and the bots or is blind to some aircraft that are even coming towards you
It’s a bigger issue on better radars in my experience.
In my experience, Ive had it happen to me and at least you could tell with those type of radar that they were bombs/missiles
