So instead of being cryptic you guys are going to post the source or number of people whose data has been looked at, right?
Assuming these statistics are the entirety of them pulled from Gaijin’s playerbase, the F-14B is right in the middle of the pack, slightly below average in winrate. Then again, it beats several of the peers who do have AIM-9M and better flight models in kills per spawn and kills per death. It is a solid middle grounds vehicle which to Gaijin, is a huge indicator that there is nothing wrong with it.
Instead what is clear is that the JA37DI and F-14A IRIAF are outliers among their peers and need nerfing. The American F-15A which is supposedly superior to the F-14B in flight model and ordnance performs far worse and needs a buff by those same standards. I don’t make the rules, Gaijin does.
Though since they haven’t adjusted anything I suspect they understand the truth of the matter… American players suck? I mean how else do you explain the other F-15’s at 13.0 outperforming it since they don’t have any significant upgrades by comparison? Surely the BAZ with Python 3s and no IRCCM is the reason… I can understand Japans 40G upgrade.
I haven’t had the chance to play it yet today. Is the F-14B good now that it literally can’t see Eurofighters and Rafales. Surely it sees something other than 14.0 now, right?

It’s still decent at 13.0-14.0 because theirs still better missile like the r73, rb74, Matra R550 Magic 2 , PL missiles, r27er , aim120, SD-10(A),aim7P,r-77 etc…

I flew a few missions. Seems the 14.0+ fighters are getting stuck together and the F-14B is fighting around 13.3 - 13.7 most of the time if it isn’t a full down tier. Due to this the winrate feels 50/50

No, you are still facing modern ARH spam and your best weapon is the AIM-7M.
The J-8F is also being spammed out by Chinese players and is a grand majority of what you will face currently.
My main concern when flying the countermeasure storage facility on swing wings isn’t enemy ARH missiles
If They didt give F14B 9m, Maybe its mean they would have plan to add A late or D model later?
The F-14B is the A/late and the F-14D would most certainly come with at least AIM-9M, maybe even 9X

It’s not, the A-late was never refit with a GPS antenna so losses GPS bombs, and a few other minor features that wouldn’t be modeled, or are otherwise abstracted like being able to automatically generate Strike co-ordinates based of TGP look angle.
