That is a different topic. Personally i am always for stuff being added into tech tree and premiums offering same capabilities but with some interesting quirk added on top. When it comes to F-14 and AIM-120, however, i am actually leaning more towards gaijin opinion. AMRAAM ain’t gonna give F-14 any significant improvements, but 13.3 br (at the very least, it could jump to 13.7 if it can carry more than 6 AIM-120s) will make Tomcat life much more miserable, because pretty much everyone gonna have either better flight model, better missiles, better radar, or all of the above at the same time. 13.0 is a very good placement, giving you downtiers into Fox-1 lobbies where you can be a very dangerous opponent.

i don’t even have F-14D on my account lmao.
It can only carry 6 aim120 and 2 fox2 irccm and it should be at 13.3 I don’t know why people think it’ll go to 13.7 off the start when the su30mkk/mk2 didn’t. As for performance it will add to it if gajin say it won’t is a lazy ass excuse to use plus it a retarded asf to say an if it doesn’t added performance then why not just added it, if it won’t affect anything their just contradicting themselves

which opens it to 14.3 lobbies. F-14 facing Su-30SM, AESA equipped Hornets and Eagles and much more 13.7s than at 13.0 will certainly be much more fun than getting downtiers into Phantoms and Tornadoes

14.3 won’t matter much I already fight against 14.0 planes in the f14B in the f14D will have a better chance against 14.3 because of the radar only thing it needs is good armaments like the aim120A,aim9m, and hopefully a aim54c+ that’s different and hopefully a bol buff. As for the down tier that’s just seal clubbing them and as a f14 main that would make our reputation even more bad then it already is plus the same amount of up tiers you get the same you can get in down tiers if the plane is introduce correctly can be competitive at 13.3 honestly I think they should added f14D(r) aim7p,aim9m,aim54c+ with lgbs/jdam while the f14D could have aim120,aim9m,aim54c+,and lgbs.

I have opened a new bug report for the F-14B and F-14D. Both aircraft should be able to carry AGM-88A HARMs on the HARM adapter, which was later repurposed for the LANTIRN targeting pod, according to my secondary source.
I don’t have any high hopes that it will pass, but let’s see their response.

Yeah sadly no they couldn’t and I actually already posted info that it’s not the same as aim120A integration because well as far that I’ve read they just mounted them to convince them to allow more funding those photo are basically the same as dual aim120 rack but who knows I did find one document say that some in Texas who makes tech for the harm while it was talking about added them to aircraft the f14 was mentioned not to mention the apg71 was supposed to be next gen to be able to use all modern weapons the navy had in its inventory after all the f14D was supposed to be like f15E
This was after funding cuts that reduced apg71/f14D capability’s

They do care about their products selling and based on some information the sales might not be high on this.
With the decrease of F-14s it might be unclassified now.
