I play late in the evening quite often (UK Time), usually with US servers selected for faster queues. I dont really find much of a difference. I may not get base 1 or 2 on the left, but usually get one of the two on the right and the Tornado is no longer an overladen cargo plane. It can fight okay enough to throw people off.
My recommended loadout.
2x Aim-9Ls
2x BOZ
5x Mk13 high drag or 6x Mk83 high drag
I personally like 30 mins internal + fuel tanks, because in a pinch, I can ditch them for an immediate FM boost, but there is an argument to be made for 45-50 mins internal without the extra drag (with fuel dumping coming, that then becomes even more optimal)
Thank god someone has actually put an idea forward, this is exactly what I think as well. Gaijin needs to DISINSENTIVISE people from bombing in pure fighters/intercepters. Will this solve the problem entirely? No. But it will change how aircraft are used, like when rockets were fixed/nerfed.
Nah I actually quite like getting chase by 20 missle behind me and doge fighting while with my bombs to their. Protecting my bombs = Kill enemy who try to kill me. Shooting the missle at last second always grant me a kill however, Am gonna stop this strategy when reaching top tier.
I heard only phantoms with Zuni rockets could.
But I also heard it costs double the weight of 12 x 500lb
Then it might be quadruple the weight of Napalm, maybe?

The better suggestion is for larger maps with more ground targets - Both bases and AI - to hit for those wanting to PTFO for the ground game moreso than air combat.
Also, destroying bases should affect the ticket pool again. That change was always stupid.
What if instead of complaining about individual planes we bully gaijin into having more bases spawn at the beginning? They make us wait for new bases to spawn for no reason when they could have them all spawn at once and then everyone could get bombs off.
Meanwhile you can do the same points by hitting GTs, and it’s not riskier than going for bases.
I think the they should bring back Airfield bombing though… I remember i was playing at that time and i played interceptors and it was good gameplay (and way more realistic) .
And for high tiers with missiles etc. that would be fun. And way more realistic…
Mid and higher tier bomber experience is already been ruined long-long time ago. If Gaijin wants to change it they would have already done it. The haven’t, so it is intentional. At the lower tiers bomber are bombers, at the mid and high tiers they are defenseless and useless cannon fodder. Bombers are meant to be cannon fodder.
My proposal is: at the higher tiers, when level bombing anymore does not exist, remove bases and leave only ground units. Would be better for the team.
