Extremely weird and funny bug with scout drone

I was playing the TAM earlier and noticed that the scout drone icon had changed to the icon for the mini remote controlled tankette thing from a past event. I’m a new player so I’m not sure which event it was from. I went to deploy my scout drone a second later and was surprised to see that instead of a drone it spawned an M3 Bradley instead. I could control the Bradley but couldn’t fire its weapons. I’m fairly certain that enemies could see it too because they started shooting at it and the bullets would pass right through it. I died before I could do any further testing. Has this happened to anyone else, and more importantly, does anyone know what caused this bug?

The icon was from the event they tested drones with (I forgot the name but the drone in the event is essentially the RC/XD from COD’s actual IRL counterpart)

I havent had that glitch happen but it seems funny enough that if Gaijin doesn’t fix it I wouldn’t complain

Just happened to me. My Centauro spawned a M1 lol.

Gaijin make it happen. Give us Ground EC and allow us to switch between vehicles.

sEports Reedy.

Scout drones
Doss anyone here know how to stop scout drones from going up and down when you leave the drone?
It used to just fly a straight path but for me it longer does this. It makes the Picture in Picture mode completely useless

If you hit H it will start a large orbit, use of the keyboard flight controls will adjust the size of the orbit, though you have to kinda guestimate it

Not trying to orbit
It used to just fly straight and it just bobs up and down. Orbit is useless unless it’s already outside of the battlefield where it won’t likely get taken out

Well that’s the way you stop the bouncing, the alternative is to use orbit and just completely level the drone out

So with orbit you can make it fly straight?

Yeah, you just have to level the drone out, which is decently hard to get perfect so there’ll be a minute curve to its flight path
