Explanation regarding vehicle textures

it also looks leather-strapped in the avatar. it should be a canvas strap.

Which is a shame. We have just about all the information they could possibly have needed documented by the AWM which is a government organisation. So if they needed something less publicly available, it would not exactly be difficult to arrange for legitimate purposes.

not to mention the massive playerbase more than willing to help if asked.

Frustratingly, this goes for this entire issue.

Profile art could comfortably be commissioned to be done, because art folk always need something to put food on the table. Even more would jump at the opportunity to maintain consistent work if the project directors wanted a consistent style of art across profile entries.

Plenty of folk would provide the project with necessary information if they were struggling to find documentation to improve accuracy of the depicted article. Folk would prefer it be accurate than the travesties we get half the time. Involving the community in the introduction of new options for the game would also catch a lot of inaccuracies in models before they make it to live, where it is harder to correct.

Mates have amongst the more fixated playerbases on the forums, yet they choose not to utilise it and just do a dodgy job instead. Just a pain they’d rather do a worse job than develop the logistics to manage community information to better reflect the articles they’re depicting.

I don’t care if gaijin uses AI or not, just don’t make vehicles ugly and unhistorical.

I wanted to believe this explanation, but then I took a look at decals holiday folder…
Its always some mysterious they / them… Artists… QAs… Sweat shop in India… Its never a company head who ordered such things at certain cost… :/

That is very inconvenient, to say the least

Guys, there is a serious question that should be aked:

Is Gajin telling the truth?
What if they are lying, telling us that there was a error?
Who is that texture Company?
How did it pass the texture controll?

I would like to see more anwseres, as some content creators doesnt belive this.

how??

you be surprised how much QC is missed in the pipeline it won’t be the first won’t be the last

Yeah, @Stona_WT , how did this happen?

Probably all budget went to HR.

I don’t think using AI is shameful (my personal opinion).

Using it for subsidies is acceptable (my personal opinion).

However, if it’s used for paid content, it needs to be clearly stated. After all, people want to buy things made by humans, not things made by AI, because I could also make that same think by using AI myself.

Therefore, honesty is the most important thing.

So, be honest in everything you do.

The fuel stencils are actually quite handy and very simple. Sadly Google also chose to use it roughly 80 years later for another purpose…

They predate AI by quite some time.

Considering unprofessional behaviour and breach of contract by the outsource team, will the company consider holding them accountable? Not touching legal matters, and considering the fact that those textures were made by using tools not allowed by Gaijin, will those textures be redrawn and completed according to all quality standards of the Gaijin Entertainment company by that or other outsource team or by the game team?

They already replaced most of them except the M60A1

iirc they haven’t yet, they just took the blatant watermarks off the posters on the Emily challenger. Hopefully they’re getting replacements for them.
