Suggestion: Expanded Quick Chat Options for Missiles and Threat Alerts

Currently, the in-game quick chat system only includes a generic Air Alert message:

With the increasing complexity of modern ordnance in War Thunder, especially in Ground Realistic and Simulator battles, it would be highly beneficial to expand the quick chat options to include more situational warnings - particularly related to missile launches.

Suggested Additions:

Missile Alerts:

  • “Enemy ground missile launched” (for ground battles, when missiles like SAMs or ATGMs are detected)
  • “Enemy air missile launched” or “Missile launch detected” (for Air RB/SB, when radar/IR-guided missiles are spotted)
  • “Enemy air-to-ground missile incoming” (to alert friendly ground units of incoming munitions from aircraft)

Strategic Threats:

  • “Nuclear bomber detected” or “Nuclear payload inbound” (particularly useful since air players currently don’t hear the ground-based nuclear siren and rely on chat communication)

Optional: Tiered Threat Alerts:

  • “Large missile inbound” (could apply to large threats like ballistic or cruise missiles)
  • “Enemy ATGM spotted” (specific to anti-tank guided missiles)

Why This Matters:
These quick messages would:

  • Help coordinate team responses to high-priority threats
  • Improve team awareness in the absence of comms or direct visual confirmation
  • Level the playing field between players on ground and in the air (e.g., nuclear alerts)
  • Make the game feel more immersive and reactive to modern battlefield conditions
