It would be difficult to implement unfortunately,
- the system is primarily meant for the ground and cannot be fired on the truck due to the fact that it isnt mounted on anything

- the configuration on the image lacks the command box, which is needed to control the whole system
- even if it is implemented, it requires atleast two vehicles, one with the control box, and another with the radar, IIRC there isnt any plans by the devs to introduce multi-vehicle systems on the lower BRs
- It would at best be at BR 8.7 / 9.0, so not really a massive upgrade over the current type 87

it’s real that we need C-RAM and C-UAS, it would work very nice against drones, heli’s and intercepting missiles; that’s what is the most needed now that there can be a lot of F&F CAS. Russia already have one, and so Italy. They should buff the OTOMATIC radar tho. Some of them uses X band for the lock-on, which is rarely picked up by RwR.
HEMTT centurion for US and UK, the Centauro Draco for Italy, RAPIDfire 8x8 for france, Skyranger for Germany, Indonesian Skyshiled for Japan,
Sweden, Japan and Israel don’t have such CRAM tho, just Irael with the Iron Dome, but it’s not mobile.
The Skyshield is honesly the most needed, since Japan has just nothing against heli mutlipathing, since the IR don’t work with IRCM, the contrast mode can be falred by MAW and don’t give you a lock at less than 3km, and the Type-03 just lobe so much it won’t do anything under 4km and is useless against multipathing.

Tbh if it works that way. “Maybe” gaijin will use same mechanism with all multi-vehicle sam to implemented this SHORAD,but who knows?i hope in the future we can see this vehicle in war thunder.

oxy mention there would be 2 more tank and they not ready yet for the dev, it’s most likely the Harimau and Pandur FSV maybe.
at least they did not start with copy paste
Also 2RI MG is using the SM2 instead of M240
still, calling it the implementation of a “sub-tree” while adding just 3 vehicles is lowkey crazy, but par for the course i guess

TBF they never said they were adding ground Indonesia sub tree only that we would see leo2RI and “some” others which could just be one more in their eyes

idk man, Gaijin could just copy paste lot of thing to Japan like M3A1 and M3A3 (to fill Rank II light tank gap) Original AMX-13/75 for 7.3 Lineup, EBR 51 with 5.7 Lineup etc

But I think the US centurion would be better at intercepting faster missiles such as the new ARM and other supersonic missiles, with those higher RPM.
Japan also use the HEMTT, i’ve seen it with my own eyes.

Its external armour is currently armoured glass (so basically adds nothing as of now)
And it got access to either Gen2 or Gen3 thermals? I thought it didn’t get a thermal* upgrade.
