oh yeah forgot about that part and it’s 3-4 am when I wrote that, my bad

EDIT V12:

  • Added the T-34C-1 Turbo Mentor
  • Moved the Rafale B from the future section into in-service

The first batch of Rafale Bs has been delivered last week, as such they are being moved from the “future” section into the active section (basically Rank 9).

it’s an AI edited photo of this:

Even with “AI enhancer” it’s still blurry as heck

Indonesia has unilaterally torn up the procurement contract for the Su-35. The procurement of the J-10B/C was only a unilateral claim by the Indonesian side, and only a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed for the F-15EX, which was not subsequently approved by the U.S. government. Indonesia ultimately selected the twin-seat Rafale fighter jet. Therefore, the addition of the Su-35S, F-15EX, and J-10B/C should not be requested, since the country has already chosen the Rafale

Indonesia ordered single as well as twin seat Rafale in the same order a few years back, its completely unrelated to other acquisition plans / potential orders.

There is no evidence to prove that Indonesia has purchased the Su-35, F-15EX, or J-10B/C. Indonesia’s attempt to procure the Su-35 was declared a failure as early as 2021. The country once weighed its options between the Boeing F-15EX Eagle II and the Dassault Rafale fighter jet. Regarding the F-15EX, there is no official contract from Indonesia to substantiate any purchase intent. For instance, Israel, which purchased the Israeli-version F-15EX (F-15IA) this year, has a formal contract, whereas Indonesia only signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). Ultimately, Indonesia chose the Rafale over the F-15EX, making the claim that Indonesia would acquire the F-15EX completely baseless. The situation with the J-10B is identical: there has only been a unilateral announcement from the Indonesian side, and the two parties did not even sign an MOU. I am currently in China, and this photo of a Flanker-series aircraft flying directly overhead is solid proof. I took this photo myself, and there is absolutely no second copy of it to be found online. Previously, I have also witnessed three J-10Bs conducting combat exercises right above my head. Under such circumstances, how could there be any talk of exporting them to Indonesia? These few projects are not potential orders at all: two ended in total failure, and the other is merely a unilateral statement with no substantive progress.

The news regarding the procurement of the J-10B has never been officially confirmed by China. What’s more, the Indonesian Air Force has not even conducted test flights of the J-10B. So how did you arrive at that conclusion?

deal was frozen in 2021, not cancelled

Sure only a claim, not like our AFB are currently on planning on expanding its fighter squadron, expanding the airbase, as well as it having this jet as the meeting’s main presentation slide. Not to mention many different reputable ID source basically saying yes we’re close on getting it

Correct,

Not correct, in fact we already got the budget allocations for it, however during LoA deadline we did not activate the purchase

we have both variants of the Rafale already flying in France

You say that isnt if our country hasnt operated multiple different faction’s jets before. Even currently we still have F-16s flying side by side with the Sukhois

If a military asset should be added just because it appears in relevant military contexts, then the F-22 and F-35, which frequently appear in China’s military exercises, should they be assigned to China as well? Furthermore, present concrete evidence from the so-called authoritative media you mentioned, instead of using claims from self-media that the J-10C is coming soon as your basis. Since you have not purchased the F-15EX or the Su-35, these models naturally should not be added

he’s not arguing that they should be added in game…
he’s just talking about irl

That meeting was specifically about the future fighter squadron. If china was having a meeting for a future squadron and it has an image of a jet, then i presume they’re talking about said jet

Of course I dont want the J-10 to be added to our inventory, its an older B model that we will get mainly because a broker is getting money from it lmao. Literally zero purpose for the purchase yet we’re still going for it

I think your missing the point in that this list isnt to say “i want this added”, but rather its to list all possible aircrafts that Indonesia had or could have

Irrelevant, and additionally to what my Indo friend already pointed out; keywords being not purchased yet - Just because nothing has happened yet does not mean that these potential deals (which, again, are independent of the Rafale deal) will not come to fruition in the future.

You’d better not add these equipment that have not been officially purchased. After all, a similar mistake occurred before: the 2009 Su-30MKM was equipped with the Kh-38 missile, which was not inducted into service in Russia until 2013, as well as the R-77-1 missile that this aircraft never procured at all

No one is talking about adding these things, once again; we discuss potentional future additons, Nations do not necessary own yet.

Irrelevant to whats being discussed here, off-topic and there no prove that neither couldn’t be used, the opposide is the case.

Why are you acting like people on the forums have a say in what the devs add to their vehicles?

However, it is clearly more appropriate to equip the Su-30MKM with the AIM-120C. After all, this aircraft has been retrofitted with Western avionics and has never undergone upgrades in Russia since then. If the Su-30MKM can use the R-77-1 missile, then shouldn’t the two Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK models in the game also have the capability to launch the R-77-1?

Su-30mk2 yes su-30mkk no

Why? They are clearly all part of the Su-30 family. The Su-30MK2 only possesses more powerful anti-ship capabilities than the Su-30MKK, and their air combat capabilities should be identical
