That’s pretty much inevitable. If they make the Su-30MK2 a premium, we still have the Su-30MK as a potential tech tree vehicle, and vice versa. It’d be pretty damn funny if they decided to make BOTH of them premiums, though
At this point, I’m honestly glad Indonesia operates two variants of the Flanker-G built by KnAAPO, since MOST countries only operate the MK2. And even if Gaijin decides not to add either the MK or MK2 to the tech tree, we still have the Upgraded Su-27SK to carry the RVV-AE as another potential option.

ig if they want to add cavalier stang they might want to remodel every mustang in game, like how F-86 looks so outdated when the Commonwealth Sabres added (and also Greek F-86E(M))

hope we see lower BR stuff Japan does have CAS issues (most because weapons were not added) but it’s a help.
Any news about the Su-35 that was allegedly arriving at the beginning of this month?
The guy had already clarified in late September that it wouldn’t come this year afterall, though construction of new facility at Flankers home base indicated that it might come in the near future.
Personally, I’d still take their words because some of what they’re saying in the past has indeed come to fruition.

After further reading it seems like the extra fuel tank of the B-33 is a droptank, specifically the MiG-17’s two 400L droptanks mounted on the B-33’s bombracks, so its not an internal change but rather an external one

So it seems “Monografie Lotnicze 22 - Il-2, Il-10” is also referring to those same MiG-17 drop tanks? At least using machine translation this does seem to line up, with only the 300l (translation made it 3001 here) being a mistake from 400.

yeah thats the original source i got the modifications from, but its very vague, but this is a Russian source so I dunno how valid it is, but it is more specific at the very least on what that modification entails

This is a fairly standard paint scheme for KnAAPO aircraft. The same scheme was used on the Su-35 for Egypt, the “Su-35BM”, and some Su-27SKs
Perhaps Ethiopia ended up with the Egyptian aircraft
