is it an offical gov account or is it an insider?
KERIS (Kajian pERtahanan strategIS) [strategic defense studies] is an organization of sorts with insider info on things, but each social media account is usually handled by different people. there are also multiple admins for each page. the facebook guy for instance, tends to mention a lot of things, so that’s why its quoted often rather than the twitter page
they regularly held talk spaces with armed forces officials and defence experts, they also regularly get invited to news shows to talk about defence issues

its not part of the government but its own independent thing, i would say their info is 90-95% accurate majority of the time, IIRC they were one of the first sources to mention the J-10, which in turn got confirmed by the mindef later on

Indonesia has been on a spending alot of money for different systems lately, they are a major contributor in the KF-21 and yet still want to buy another 5th gen

IIRC the hawks is most likely going to be either retired or kept in reserve, the Su-35 is being brought in supposedly to replace the older sukhois, they’re going to be put into the same base so who knows
