Ha, wouldn’t surprise me if they did that indeed, but gave it FALCOs and put it at 10.7! 🥴
True.
That’s not realistic — the aircraft was never equipped with cannon armament and carried at most two mock-up missiles for testing. It could be given two missiles, but without any cannon armament, it would be completely unplayable.
The III S has a LOT of drag, unless you are in a 10-15* Dive this thing will keep losing speed , and the engines are VERY anemic.
It doesnt help that , when you equip the Droptank and SEPR booster at the same time you magically lose the ability to eject the Droptank , so half of the match you are REALLY heavy with no way to make yourself lighter quickly.
You are not spaded yet are you?
Just finished all of the performance mods, still handles like a slightly aerodynamic brick.
Well, to be frankly fair. A Mirage delta wing is by no means an F-16C Blk50.
The speed bleed is high after the first turn, like with all delta wings.
Even with my aces crew it is difficult to keep up with some adversaries.
The F-5E is more agile, but slower.
Did you install them all?^^
I do not know which aircraft you are comparing it to but Mirage is not slow while indeed not being the fastest to accelerate. It is a 60s jet with a domestic engine that was reliable and not to expensive but also not the most powerful at the time.
Why would it be a brick?
Mirage can beat F-5 without to many problems. Especially if you manage your energy properly.
Modern delta wing aircraft usually have no problem with keeping energy.

Aviation Military Swiss Air Force Push the limit F18, mirage, F5
I am a purist.
Not enough Mirage in there.^^
yeah dont really get complaints about the FM
It quite the upgrade over 3E FM you loose some top speed but thats the only downside. It even turns tighter than 3C but gets worse low speed retention and acceleration than a 3C.
I have seen some of the footage on YouTube but I did not it was from a report.
Does anyone have any swiss sources on the falcons?
Proper sources not just wikipedia lol
Might be able to combine it with the swedish sources to get some more reports out

As far as I can see the missiles work as they did irl.
I don’t have exact performance numbers from in game though…
Used this for almost all reports thus far but its not hugely in depth
updated list on what is still not fixed (.40):
new issues found:
-
The SEPR booster has only a limited burn time.
This should not be the case since it takes it fuel now out the internal fuel.
Fuel consumption is also not affected by the booster it seems.
no report yet.
It indeed has limited burntime (around 75-85 seconds; ~82 sec currently in game) -
The centerline fuel tank cannot be dropped whith the SEPR booster equipped.
Idk if that is accurate, I don’t think it is.
need confirmation on that one.

Sorry, but that is a very wrong assumption!
Yes, the SEPR uses the jet fuel as energy source, but uses nitric acid as oxygen source for the combustion, and that nitric acid is stored in the tank of the SEPR module in the Soute arrière:
Säuretank = acid tank, Säurepumpe = acid pump, Brennkammer = combustion chamber
So once the nitric acid tank is empty, the SEPR won’t work anymore, and that tank is very limited.
I also think that’s wrong, I’ll try to find out…
Yes, that will be hard to report. "Feeling wrong " wont help us much… = /
I’m still waiting for feedback from my contacts from the Mirage community, hopefully someone can dig up that volume 2 of the pilots manual that may be answering quite a few of the questions we have…
Ok did not know that. I thought it just used the fuel.
that thing will also be useful with the ballistic computer
Considering the AS-30, do you have access to any primary that states that it could carry it.
I remember you mentioning that it wasn’t actively used in the later parts, but could the C.70 still carry it, or was it only the early models.
For pictures, I could only find some with the non-canard IIIS having them installed.
