I got nothing for the canard yet. But its certainly not in the main file.
Do you know the Swiss Air Force Mirage font type?
Still waiting for my dad (who owns a pilot manual for the Tiger from 1995) to find and send me the info, then I’ll gladly add it…
For before or after KAWEST 85?
Before it’s the same as for everything else, Hunters and stuff, but that doesn’t exist as downloadable font. I made the “J” and some numbers as vector graphic, but would have to make more.
For KAWEST 85 it’s “almost” Amarillo, with some changes in some numbers, e.g. the 5 which is slightly different, I think the 2 also…
I see what I can send you…
Yep. Before Kawest would be needed. After KAWEST is same as Hornet. I have those.
Oh, just noticed that the IIIS is modelled with the nosewheel extended: That is a modification specific to Swiss Mirages to lower the high tailplane to make them fit through the blast doors of the mountain caverns, and is never used when flying the aircraft!
Another bug report incoming… = )

And here the report: Community Bug Reporting System
@Psusennes, nice graph! Could you kindly add it as comment in my report? = )
Correct RWR is now implemented on the dev 2.46.0.25
Cool!
How about the radar?
Is there now also a cockpit?
No and no.
Right now its just the RWR.
It’s also still impossible to fire the Falcons. :(
I do believe the TARAN is installed, but just atm not yet labelled correctly in the stats sheet: the shape of the radar in Xray view is clearly not the Cyroano, but the TARAN:
vs.
TARAN in real life:
They modeled it correctly in the X-Ray, but the stats are the same as the Cyroano.
Thats whats so funny about this situation…
They seemingly copy pasted the IIIE onto the IIIS model
The specs for are wrong @Schindibee Rather look like cyrano specs.
TARAN 18 (Mirage III)
General data: Type: Radar Altitude Max: 0 m Range Max: 37 km Altitude Min: 0 m Range Min: 0.2 km Generation: Early 1970s Properties: Pulse Doppler Radar (Full LD/SD Capability), Continuous Wave Illumination
Sensors / EW:
TARAN 18 - (Mirage III) Radar
Role: Radar, FCR, Air-to-Air & Air-to-Surface, Short-Range
Max Range: 37 km
Still, I guess it’s just the info popup that’s wrong.
What I find positive is that it IS a different model from the Cyrano in the X-ray view, so Dev’s are aparently aware it’s not the same radar, and we don’t have to argue for that… = )
We got the cockpit now.
HUD sight cannot be switched or I am doing something wrong.

Don’t know, only took a screenshot from work, haha!
But I’m happy so far! If they now also hear our prayers about the armament…
How would you switch it? Am not familiar with cockpit controls (I don’t play sim)
How would you switch it? Am not familiar with cockpit controls (I don’t play sim)
Simply by switching the sight mode (iirc Ctrl+S by default). Atm it tells me “no ballistic computer”, which worries me a bit, as I believe the MIRO should have EEGS of some sorts with the TARAN radar.
Sadly however I don’t have the part of the pilots manual that describes radar and weapons systems in Detail, so can’t really say…
But I see that the map display is implemented too! Great!!!
Somewhere I still should have an original slide that was used in the projector of the map display unit, covering whole Switzerland…
Edit:
Hmmm, actually your screenshot hints at how it should be:
“Reticule” is the sight, “SOL” means “ground” so those switch position switch the sight to air/ground modes, the upper positions (mostly hidden in the screenshot) would be “AIR” and would swith to the air/air sight modes…
They apparently removed the ballistic computer on .26 it had before
let’s hope they add it back with the correct radar.
