Everything to know about Danish armour before 1945

While browsing on the internet, I found some very interesting material about the armour of the Kingdom of Denmark made on the website https://chakoten.dk/

I found this material very interesting, because it covers everything to know about tanks and armoured cars used by Denmark before 1945, and I haven’t found anything else that was so complete.

The only problem is: it’s written in danish, BUT it is on a pdf, so you can copy-paste the text to translate it if you’re interested.

Apologies if this is not the right place to post this kind of stuff, I REALLY don’t come on this forum often, I am way more active on the Enlisted forum. I posted this here because it is not a suggestion per se, but it could give some ideas to the devs for some nice low rank tanks and armoured cars (probably more the armoured cars in WT’s case, because some were armed with 20mm autocannons) in the swedish tech tree (because we already have the danish Chaffee in the tree).

So, without further ado, here are the links (please note that each link contains only a few pages, with sometimes many pics, so the fact that everything is written in danish probably won’t bother you too much):

And here is another link from a different website for a few more pics, including pics of improvised danish armoured cars : Dines Bogø - 1940-1945 - Besættelsen - Panservogn

Thanks, for the moment I don’t really seek to translate it, I’m more interested in the different models of vehicles and their specifications. If I need a translation, I’ll get in touch with you as a result, thanks for proposing.
Out of curiosity, did you find this interesting, or did you already know these documentations or informations before ?
Also, feel free to share these with your fellow countrymen if some of them want to make real suggestions in the dedicated part of the forum.

Thanks. I’ll put a link to this topic in his NDI ground forces techtree, I won’t do the same post again with all the links in his topic. I hope it will help him.

i’ve looked into some of the Danish vehicles, and there arent many other sources to find any information about it on the internet than what Suzumebachi14 has posted here

There are the Danish archive; https://arkiv.dk/ wich do have a lot of important images of certain vehicles, however its a painful website to find stuff at as you need to contact and submit a request to see some of it, pure gold: arkiv.dk | Besættelsestiden Sct. Jørgens Vej, Svendborg

There weren’t exactly many ground vehicles (tanks, artillery etc) before the war in Scandinavia, but if you dig, you will find some interesting stuff.

I haven’t looked into it in a while, the absolute best way to find solid sources on them, is to search and buy books, only second hand books released many years ago will have the necessary information, as the newer books are just “copies” containing the best of the rest. When looking for Norwegian vehicles ive found tons in these types of books.

I don’t know about Denmark, but Norway has a public library, where some books are available for everyone to see (assuming you have Norwegian Ip address) and where you can send an application to read certain books or documents for so and so many hours, its called the national library. I would assume Denmark has a similar system to, and i believe it might actually be this site https://arkiv.dk/
