The time format in-game does not seem to match my local timezone, because the progress of an event changed before it had started. I have some questions:
- What time zone does the game use?
- If an event hasn’t started yet, will it show in the list?
The time format in-game does not seem to match my local timezone, because the progress of an event changed before it had started. I have some questions:
The game uses GMT as its time.
Generally they post events in the game about 24 hrs. before it goes live. Sometimes. Sometimes its just when they do.
You can check the start/ends times there in your Achievements tab. The times listed there are your local time, they do that for you. Here in the Forum, when they announce the start of an event, it is at a GMT time, but any stages after the initial start will be, like I said, in your Achievements and listed as your local time(s)
On the forum you can even post specific dates and times and have them show up as the users local time when they view it ^^
Test:
This date is tomorrow (Monday 17’th of March 2025) at 12’15 UTC: 2025-03-17T12:15:00Z
You should even be able to click it to see a few more timezones.
Anything listed in the game as a task or an event is listed in your local time.
I’d check your timezone settings and whether you’re synced, and whether you are set to automatically change to Summer Time.
Also one thing to note is sometimes the timezones have a moment in game, especially nearing the end of a task. For me it often says the time the event ends is 0:30, what does that mean? One would assume 0030 hours but I have no bleeding idea, because it doesn’t actually swap over at 0030 hours. :/
Usually taks don’t update until you exit the hangar and go back to it again, like starting a match or going in and out of test-drive. I sometimes have to do the test drive thing to get the dailies to actually start and show me what task i have :P
Yes, but what I mean is like, it’ll say the task ends at 0:30, but it’ll switch over at like 2330 or something which is odd to me. I also live in NZ, were 0030 hours GMT would be 1330 hours my time
Check your timezone setting isn’t set to another +12 GMT that is without summer time.
I’ve not had that happen.
Cheers mate I’ll try
