Not to sound like an elitist or anything but this event vehicle is rank 7 in the tech tree. It makes little sense for a low level Timmy in his rank 3 tank to get a high tier event vehicle with ease.
He can either buy it off the market or put in the hours to get it. Low tier event vehicles exist for a reason.
K/d says nothing, especially at higher BRs its going to take you a 100 games to even get a plane spaded after which you can start to improve the k/d, which naturally going to improve the more you play with a spaded vehicle you’re familiar with.
Then maybe the Snail shouldn’t add rank 7 vehicles to the game through a format like this?
Makes little sense to offer a vehicle in an event and then not want people to actually get the vehicle.
It’s a moot point anyways as this could be a literal garbage truck at rank 1 with no weapons and the requirements would still be 35k instead of 45k, which still prevents Timmy in his rank 3 tank to get this garbage with ease.
This is exactly my point, 45k is not that much for me even if I’m playing with the worse multipliers available, I played events with 3-4 times the grind in this game already, but I’m not an average player. I’m worried that these 45k start pushing away the other players from events and mostly from the game just cause they enjoy to play different ranks and/or different game modes.
I mean good luck in your stock vehicle using Aim 9Bs or something without flares whilst at high alt you get radar missiles in your face and at low alt you get all aspects in your face.
Pointless argument anyways as a stock plane will never get the same results as a spaded plane.
there are TT vehicles without flares that can face all aspects, but those are founds on planes like A-10 or Su-25. fighters at those BRs still have advantage of flight performance.
at BR like where F-16s are found, you start with two all aspects stock
if we stuck to jets only, while im not regular jet player…
all aspect missiles launched from platforms like A-10 and Su-25 lack energy necessary to catch up with planes like F–104 and Mig-19 boom n zooming them, as they are usually launched at low altitude and speed.
Yes, they are dangerous. No its not impossible to approach and take down A-10 or Su-25.
Especially R-60, god i hate that missile. all aspect version in a headon is little bit better but in rear aspect you need to be going at least as fast as your target and practically be so close you can sniff what the pilot had for breakfast and even then its 50/50 that R-60 will run out of energy before catching up with targets.
The points required are much lower, if remember correctly the TOG was 30k points, which takes a low tier player roughly the same amount of time as a high tier player takes to grind 45k points.
It’s a nice bonus reward for high tier players and a challenge for low tier ones, that’s the way I see it anyway. But the points should be much lower for low tier vehicles, 20k for the “free” tank and 15k more mission points for the premium upgrade. If you want to make things even.
You either cry that the score is too much,or you optimize your gameplay to spend as little time doing each stage by playing the highest available rank and game mode for the multiplier. Its simple.
I wasn’t talking about the points but just using the same logic that you were using, if it makes no sense for a lower tier player to grind a high tier reward then it also makes no sense for a top tier player to grind a lower tier reward. It’s not what I think, I can think of multiple reasons for both to make sense, I was just using the same logic.
That is how I think it should be, even, even between ranks and game modes, and it’s clear that it’s not, regardless of what some say. If it requires the same effort, then it’s even, but when you have “average players” saying that it took them 130min while other better than average players have to play several hours to do the same.
These low tier event vehicles give high tier players a nice free reward vehicle to grind other nations, while low tier players can get a fair, albeit, grindy shot at getting said event vehicle for only playing 2 hours a day or 1 hour each day which is not that bad imo.
If we really wanted to make things fair for everybody then Gaijin would have to impose multiplier penalties depending on the rank of the event vehicle and knowing the community there would be a massive riot so it will most likely not happen or would be implemented based on a community poll.
And I would be okay with it because I don’t really care for low tier that much.
A Sabre isn’t going to have a good time against an A-10 or Su, or basically anything at that BR, F-104s are in an entirely different league to that, but even 104s are not good jets by any means and require upgrades as well to get their speed or missiles.
You know that there are a lot of AB players that can’t also afford to play 8h a day, it’s not their fault that the average RB player scores less and needs to have a bigger multiplier to even the different game mode scores. Except what you are really saying is “Gaijin please don’t remove my big multiplier or I’ll have to play for a much longer time”.
