lets compare then to the EFT

  • FM: Also underperforming in terms of STR and ITR
  • MAWS likely should have a larger coverage area
  • RCS is too high and IR signature is probably too high as well
  • IRST: lacks ability to fire AMRAAM (heck has the bug still where STT blocks AMRAAM launch when it auto-swaps). Ability to be cued to RWR, range increased to 150km, missing 200+ target TWS, missing sesnor fusion, ground target detection.
  • TV different from the IRST FoV for some reason
  • AMRAAM should be smokeless, also limited to firing within seeker FoV
  • Aim-9M are really buggy at the moment and underperforming loads
  • 27mm has the wrong ammo
  • BOL (do I really need to say more on this matter)
  • RWR: Missing ESM, missing ability to launch weapons at targets, accuracy too low
  • Radar scan rate is too low, and all the other issues related to ESA at the moment

heck, german Typhoon probably doesnt even have the correct name.

Let alone MASSIVE issues with things like the rudder just wobbling all over the place.

Let alone P4E stuff:

  • missing CMs
  • missing DASS upgrade
  • missing AMK
    etc etc

Or loadout issues:

  • missing Brimstone 2/3s
  • missing Spear-3s
  • missing ARM
  • missing ASM
  • missing litening V Tpod

etc etc

The rafale is not the only one underperforming in those respects, but MICA EM is still one of the best weapons in-game, the Rafale still out accelerates everything for no clear reason, it still has the lowest energy bleed at higher ALTs, etc etc.

The Rafale is still waaaaaay stronger than its direct equivalent which is massively nerfed currently, waaaaaaay more than the Rafale is.

Yeah… its funny how much they want to artificially nerf the Typhoon. Clearly they a worried about loosing their OP status when the EFT finally catches up and overtakes it like it should

Yeah, they do. Would be really funny if they ended up giving us a weight reduction. It is potentially 220 kg too heavy, but that is unlikely to get fixed

Though it would probably jsut take someone submitting a “it feels too heavy” report with no sources at all and it would get nerfed like what happened to the Fox/Scimitar and what almost happeend to the PW4 or the nonsense with BOL in the first place

No sources state that the Rafale can take off without it’s wings falling off due to dubious build quality. Nerf overload limit to 0.5G.

Weight supplied by the manual does not include pilot’s Baguette Collection stored behind ejector seat. Increase weight by 300kg.

Rafale MAWS obviously does not work against PL-12s or similar sized weapons. Suggest MAWS does not activate for anything larger than a firework bought from B&Q.

Am I getting the sort of vibe we might need?

Rafale also has its own reports and probably by a bigger margin (smaller plus ducted air intakes)

Equivalent report for MICA for the first one, and no report for the A/B/C5 for the second point (or I missed it). AIM120D fixes that tho. Still don’t know why EFT misses it still

Same for rafale - rafale also should always have max speed scan since it isn’t mechanical. Currently the EFT does still benefit from high scan rate across the entire ESA + mech spectrum

Yes for all of them, and rafale doesn’t really have equivalents as of now.

Basically, almost all the reports you claimed would make the EFT catch up and overtakes the rafale “as it should” have equivalent for the Rafale (and Rafale also has a few more).

The EFT has loads of issues, Rafale as well. Honestly I don’t really see the point of either side victimizing themselves.

Yes the rafale was extremely strong when it was added. But it wasn’t the first time something wrecked lobbies. It just so happened that for once the powercreep was not favoring a main nation.

The rafale could have been nerfed on release maybe, but I also want to remind y’all that when the rafale and EFT were added the EFT also stomped on any other vehicles. Only the F15E could somewhat compete, and it was already a significant powercreep over the other jets

Instead of crying about which vehicle should have been nerfed more, we should maybe ask wether the EFT and rafale additions were good at all. Both planes were added way too early. The German should have gotten the F18 to give them a decent ARH platform and gaijin should have worked on actually improving gen 4 mechanics before adding Gen 4.5. This would have made the addition of the rafale, EFT and even SM2 much more bearable

I think the best thing we can do is try to come to an understanding that the EF and Raf are equals, some are better in some regards, some are better in others.

And move the F-14A IRIAF up to 14.3 just to make sure.
