Eurofighter vs Rafale battlefield

The problem is to have more information on any WGU-4/B variants.
(this is the guidance unit for AIM-9M’s, which get variants for the different AIM-9M variants, up to the WGU-4E/B)

On the grounds that I dont think the Aim-9M is based upon any specific variant and there is no other sources for the Aim-9M lock ranges for any seeker then this is about as good as it gets with wise to information for accurately modeling Aim-9M.

Though I dont think any Aim-9M variant was chirped unless you have a primary source stating that

The MICA is stated to be a 100km range missile by a primary source, a range which it can’t achieve currently in-game.

Class,… not range (at least on my knowledge)

if it could reach publicly advertised 80km range, it would be fine.

It specifically states range, doesn’t say range class.

somehow very far from 100km (that would be reached on MICA NG EM on the following source stating +40% range compared to actual MICA)

yourself you said MICA EM 80km with 3 sources that we can’t access anymore:

so i’m curious to see an actual source stating that MICA-EM (non NG) can reach 100km.

because, we all know that MICA and MICA NG doesn’t have the same mass of propergol

Wait the NG can do 100km?

The IR version can yes.

is EM slightly better since it is more aerodynamic?

Idk if it’s “slightly” but yes it features more range due to more aerodynamic seeker.

maybe 10-15km more?

In one source the range between MICA NG EM and MICA NG IR was said to be a difference of 30km

wow, thats pretty substantial. so 100km on the IR and 130 for the EM?

I don’t think gaijin is remotely trustworthy in regards to the EFT after the “We believe this is a clear manufacturing lie” debacle

Only the ‘NG’ Next generation models, base MICA-IR is between 50-70 depending of whether gaijin lets people fire it without an IR lock (LOAL)

still looking for those sources, btw

Report as not yet been made when looking at the report site. I guess DS will share when it is reported.

Radar spreadsheet with the absolute minimum we can expect from the CAPTOR-E when added to the game compared to most other top tier radars currently in-game:

Minimum assumption being:

  1. CAPTOR-E keeps the exact same scan zones and beamwidth as the CAPTOR-M
  2. CAPTOR-E takes at most 1/8th the time CAPTOR-M takes to complete a scan
  3. CAPTOR-E has the same update rate as the RBE2-AA (worst in class among airborne ESA’s in-game)

If anyone has any info that could allow me to put other incoming radars into the spreadsheet, let me know and we might be able to see what they’ll look like as well.

How many nations even have captor E tho IRL. Arent the eurofighter nations a bit late with how slow they have been to develop an Aesa 4.5th gen? Maybe a side question but truly interesting because it might be an issue in game wise since many nations cant get those eurofighter varaints?

Develop? No. Deploy? Yes.

3 nations in-game could get some variant of CAPTOR-E/ECRS, unless gaijin starts adding subtrees with EFT’s to other nations. Bit of a tricky situation though cuz i think only 1 in-game nation (Germany) has already started deploying EFT’s with ECRS in actual service, while other nations are planning on doing so in the near future.
