This is what MICA used to have (before the buff to no limits with LD/IOG guidance to mica and r77-1), and i find the difference to be absolutely massive
I mean the IR missile would still have the 360 degree envelope right? Just the seeker is limited to 60 degrees if i am not mistaken.

I think his point was to only allow for LOBL capabilities, which would mean the missile wouldn’t fire outside of its gimble limits
It’s not bad, but it’s also not 90°. Like sll the other Western 5th generation missiles are capable of.

We’ll have to wait and see how they model it.
Its entirely possible that LOBL might be enforced to maintain better balance and gameplay and so the 60° vs 90° would be quite hard felt. I can actually see them not wanting to add 360 engagement for anyone (and they all could do it).
It also soft mitigates long ranged stealth shots if everyone is capped to like 20-25km (let alone the fact this mitigates the spaghetti code)

It’s not a smart monetization idea for Gaijin to further copypaste top tiers, especially the few actually unique aircraft.
Idk sounds like a very smart idea to me, put the best jet in the game in several trees and watch as hundreds buy top tier premiums to bum rush to get the ravioli.
Not that I agree by the way, this is a short term profit mindset and will only damage the game over time. Or maybe it’s gaijin trying to “balance” by adding rafales every where idk.
France is one of the only nations thats been isolated from large amounts of copy paste others have had to suffer, and with how oppressive the Rafale has been while unique to one nation, this is a good thing team-balance-wise when considering the fact that gaijins already long made the decision to eliminate tech tree uniqueness.
The players abusing the Rafale might finally get a taste of their own medicine, its unfortunate other nations rafales haven’t come sooner, seeing as gaijin clearly has no interest in balancing the plane in the first place.
Give a Rafale to UK/Japan/Isreal, and maybe even China if the Taiwanese decide to buy it sometime soon.
