TMC- twin missile carrier.

Yes, I know. But it’s still funny.

But this is on condition that we will have “long” fox-2 in the person of ASRAAM. If there will be only 9M, then 8+2. I don’t see the point in changing 2 amraams to 4 9M.
And the wing pylon with a jettisonable fuel tank is a discussed thing. I have come across information many times that this pylon is suitable for launching anti-radar missiles. That is, it is not a dumb pylon, it is connected to the combat systems of the aircraft and target designation can be transmitted to the pylon. But I have never seen a photo with missiles on this pylon.

in that regard, please remember you are limited to how many fox 3 missles u can guide at once.
there is reasons why the fox 2s are a good choice

That does raise a question. How many can the Typhoon guide. Blue Vixen can guide 4. Being a massively upgraded Blue Vixen, im guessing it can probably guide its full payload of 6x AMRAAM

I recall seeing the number of 6, don’t remember where, or the source but I’m 99% sure I saw somewhere claim 6.

Would just make sense

I prefer long-range combat. It’s the number of missiles you have under your wings that matters, not how many you can fire at once.

I mean - i never seen 120 or meteor on that pylon. I am 101% sure that this pylon allows you to carry and use air-to-surface weapons.

Docs from the National Archives say it can guide 6 missiles at once.

That pylon was clear. The furthest to the right is in question

Im so happy to see the Typhoon mounts a TGP in a way for it not to impeed any air to air or CM capabilities <3

yeah but it prevents the center fuel tank meaning youll need wing tanks which block 2 bomb stations

M8, the thing can supercruise, you shouldnt need bags…

not with bombs
with bombs you shouldnt go above mach 1 in general but that doesnt matter in war thunder

Fair enough, cant really think of many situations where you’d need bombs and bags tho ingame.

You wont need it in GFRB, i dont think anyone uses LGB’s in ARB, and LGB’s are only useful for convoy strikes and battlefields in sim, both of which the EFT is bad at dealing with due to how limited its bombload is, so you probs should leave those objectives to other more efficient aircrafts.

Also, it carries 6215L of fuel internally, 1x 1000L tank on the ventral pylon isnt particularly much, and I have my doubts any bags will be required in the first place.
