Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

The fact that they are series production is actually important, because they make up part of that nations air force, for example ISPA 5 was returned to the RAF after testing.

IPSA is an aircraft that is production-ine intended for an air force and is borrowed for testing which involves removing their guns which are removed for flight test equipment. However as faster boi has pointed out IPA’s are deliberately designed as test airframes for companies to test systems and integration with, if Germany/Luftwaffe solely were explicitly testing AMK it would have been on a WTD61 aircraft.

ISPA’s are explicitly the property of the air force of that nation, IPA’s are the property of the company they are operated by.

As you said it has nothing to do with where its owned and everything to do with the company that owns it more specifically how it is a company and not a nation/defence force.

remind me but does it get more than 8 missiles?

The IPA variants are typically modified from early production aircraft to incorporate additional sensors and instrumentation needed for test flights.
These aircraft may have non-standard features to support specific tests or experiments, such as additional instrumentation pods, sensors, or control systems.
ISPA Models:
The ISPA variants are based on production aircraft but are modified to include instrumentation and testing equipment required for evaluating advanced capabilities.
ISPA aircraft tend to have fewer experimental systems than the IPAs, as they are closer to the final production configuration. However, they still carry special equipment for gathering data on aircraft systems under operational conditions.

It doesnt matter cause the IPA 07 is still german and its german tested as a result

Whats gajin supposed to do add the IPA 07 to every nation with german livery lol
Face it, it is german and if added right now would only be added to germany

Careful, remember how the Brit Tornado got a different rip speed because “the manual said different” as if they were magically different airframes lmao

real, its almost like different engineers are more or less liberal with their estimates

Lets just hope Britian also doesnt end up with the RB199 engines as a “balancing desision”

Well worst uk case best germsn italian case
Uk gets tranche 1 block1 and italy&germany block 5 for the cas capability mainly.

It sucks uk didnt upgrade apparently. But skipping straight to tranche 2s propably to much
