I’m sorrry i have amnesia, ill bookmark it.
Anyone else having a bit of a hit and miss performance from the RWR vs Su-30SMs?
But the radar is defiently still driivng me nuts
It just does wierd things like this, where contacts just disappear.
and then works okay at other times (though this shot was way more work than it should have been imo)
My rwr indicator will sometimes flash like it’s having a seizure
Are you flying without using your SAS???
No, Damping on.
Why?
Oh i just didnt see the popup and figured maybe you didnt know. A lot of sim players dont seem to know about it, figured id ask and help if that was the case here.
hehe, Yeah, I see that a lot too, but just wasnt my first spawn, I had RTB’ed and it doesnt reset unless you change loadouts. But thank you though
Though I do want to get better at flying without it on at times. I rather struggle in aircraft without it like the Hunter and the Harriers are apparently real beasts since the buffs if you fly them without Damping
I hit 2:1 before nerf on all 3 Eurofighters. After the nerf I only played the British Eurofighter and am below 2:1 on it now.
On Rafale and SU-30 I’m on a 3:1. On J-11B I gained a 2:1 while stock grinding…
Rafale as well as all Flankers and some others do missile jousting better than Eurofighter.
I think it’s time for Aim120C 🙏🙏
Maybe, but not quite yet, Aim-120B still does fine.
What is probably needed is buffing Aim-120Bs. Now that MICA have a unique seeker, I wonder if the AMRAAMs seeker can be buffed too. Let alone the flight performance of the missile.
After that, Id still rather see the Typhoons buffed focused towards
- FM
- Radar
- A2G weapons (Especially Brimstone related)
- DASS (notably BOL but also some RWR improvements)
That would have happened already though. The plaster approach would be the 120C as we are not going to receive the ASRAAM anytime…
Ok have you maybe considered that if they add the 120C they’ll add other missiles too, and the 120C might become a Derby compared to them, there’s not that many comparable missiles, the r77m and that’s pretty much it.
No, I would guess any that have been submitted either were just suggestions that havent been implemented yet, been denied for whatever reason or simply not submitted because it was assuemd they wouldnt be actioned.
I seirously doubt AMRAAM was as easy to defeat as they are currently
iirc. AAM-4 and PL-12 are already considered Aim-120C5 equivalents IRL and were nerfed to Aim-120B performance.
But for example outstanding bug reports for the AIm-120 that I can find

That’s what I mean the question is do Gaijin want to implement the Typhoons advanced features or are they happy with it just being fast?
120C can be rolled out to the other NATO members and makes it an easy upgrade.
And no I also believe all ARHM are far too lenient. You should not reliably be able to notch and chaff ARHM missiles from 3km away…But you can.
From all the reports being denied about those missiles i think gaijin will just keep them like that, unless they have internal sources but are waiting for Aim120C to action them.
Perhaps, I think a few at the very least should be looked at.
But I am curious though if the Aim-120B’s seeker differs all that much from what we have in gmae or whether everything else just uses the Aim-120B seeker
