Air RB is good as you have markers. With ASRAAM it would be so good!
Yeah a whole 50 kg lighter, which i think isn’t even modeled.
I do wonder when the Eurofighter gets more armament and maybe experimental stuff like AMK if they’ll only go to nation country, like if only Germany gets IRIS-T/AMK and only UK ASRAAM.
I’d hope we all get everything but that’s not realistic.

ASRAAM+Meteor combo would be nice, but IRIS-T+Meteor combo will also be really nice :)
I hope they don’t make long range IIR missiles like MICA IR and ASRAAM too cancer, hopefully at ranges like 10km you can flare them.
Both of them will be cancer thats for sure, especially MICA IR considering it has the same range as MICA-EM but with IIR seeker that can ignore basically any countermeasure system except Spectral one, not to mention unlike ASRAAM it has TVC system which gives you huge advantage in dogfights.
It’s a tough one, based on Gaijins previous rules if it’s in the manual the jet can use it.

Wont be an issue for Rafale or Typhoon though as their protection systems have Spectral countermeasures.
I also think MAWS systems will make long range IIR missile shots less viable

This could affect the implementation of IIR seekers heavily.
That I dont know, But the all of NATO have access to Spectral countermeasures and Typhoon currently operates with them.
They can be used from standard dispensers.
Russia use, at least on the Su-57 and Ka-52M IR dazzlers combined with countermeasures
So far only these 2 have immunity against those seekers, dont know if any other plane uses same countermeasure system (Maybe Gripen E).

SAAB love a countermeasure they will have them. Gaijin will give all nations Spectral CMs.

I dont think BOL can currently equip Spectral CMs right now.
Good question, possibly it will replace current ones or will give you the choice wetherer you want to use it or not.
BOL itself should be pretty much on par with Spectral countermeasures if im not mistaken.
BOL does not mimic plane signature, it creates a IR wall between the plane and missile

Yeah the BOL countermeasures should pretty much obscure the jet like a blanket if used right, which i think would be effective IIR or not, but we also don’t know what its actual signature is, but it’s not a traditional MTV.

Proper IIR missiles will absolutely have no issue tracking through laser DIRCM like the Russians use on Ka-52 and Su-57 right now.

I suggest using this method on a counterattack after notching. This is a duel situation in 90% of cases. Especially in ASB. In this situation, the average distance between planes is 10-20 km, at this distance the Captor is too slow, and the disadvantages of the PIRATE do not matter.

They gave you a DASS that can detect and defend against missiles. All that’s left is to add an arrow pointing to the ideal evasion trajectory.
In extreme cases, this missile can simply be shot down.
Being able to shoot down missiles that easilly makes the Typhoons 6 120s pretty paltry. That Su-30 could jyst fly straight and level shoot down the 120s and still have 8 missiles to shoot back!
