Its no different on the dev server

Im on the dev server RN

so we know radars can still be notched, cool :)

I also love this
The missile knows where it is, as it uses future sight to look where radar will in a second.

From my 1 ARB match in the dev server i can say it doesn’t create bad track files anymore at least so that’s a plus.
Also this EF radar wise will never be good unless they add either custom scan areas (so we can get more than 8 degree vertical) or add RWR search mode.

Hi All, could you please share your thoughts on CAPTOR-M’s performance on the Dev server and fill in the poll here:

I played a couple more battles on the dev server…
DASS works well. The QoL is significantly raised. But otherwise, it’s pretty stupid.

When playing against the Su-30SM or F-18, you’re not just playing defense, but total defense. You’re attacked with one, two, three, four, FIFTH missiles, and you can’t even respond properly, because instead of attack systems, you have a dumb stump. You need to use the fusion sensor not for defense systems, but for attack systems.

The Typhoon has three ways to guide a missile to a target - radar, IRST, and RWR. There are three of them not because “heh, cool”, but because the radar doesn’t work fast enough. The IRST throws targets to the radar because it scans the area faster, but the radar does it better, so the contacts are sent to it for analysis and identification. RWR (which I recently became convinced of) is also able to be a guidance system, since RWR knows the position of the radiation in space, as well as the speed of rapprochement based on 2 or more radiation tracking points. And at the current moment, when the game has carriers with 10 or more ARH missiles, the ability to guide missiles through RWR is vital. Because the carrier of such a large number of missiles will thoughtlessly crush you to victory, keeping you in the notch, and gradually approaching.
In total, as far as I know, Typhoon has lack of missiles number (I think there should be 10 + 2 of them in the current version, in a later version there are from 10 + 2 to 16 + 2) and it has only one way of guiding missiles out of three. And it uses only one method of protecting their three.

In the future, if the EF-2000 acquires the ECRS Mk2, it will be possible to constantly track targets in 200°, including gimbal range. link
N011M is combines electronic scanning and gimbal. If N011M can track in all areas, then ECRS Mk2 should have the same capability.

What do you make of the Eurofighter getting the AoA limit override on dev server?

I’ve been trying it out in dev, but it basically looks like a nerf. When the limiter is enabled, it seems to be limited to about 10~11G.

Let’s go, hopefully it stays for the live server

it does 13g for me with and without the aoa override

I forgot to reduce the fuel.

i dont understand why its limited to 12g now though…

You all realize that aoa override only kicks in under 700 kph so as to not rip the plane apart and at those speeds you can’t really get insane G.

I think they may have tweaked the autopilot to not rip at M 1+ from turning.

I can’t get over 14, idk why

From what I’ve seen it barely impacts performance haha maybe alittle more slippy and stally. But I’m at the office so can’t test myself.

it can pull a lot of aoa

anyways i just wanna mention how horrendous game performance is atm

(back on live)

are you doing a barrel roll here or is it just a pitch maneuver
