okay thanks you, I knew I was missing something. I was thinking of sea level charts. rafale at 11gs at high alt does indeed have better sep when pulling super hard. Altho, according to that graph, if you keep it to reasonable g load (so basically not full pulling/slamming s) eurofighter will keep more speed
Is it just me or is L3/PIRATE suddenly exceptionally fiddly with trying to get a tpod track? i’m trying to identify the weapons on an aircraft or launch a brimstone at a heli and it’s refusing to lock sometimes as close as 4km.
As a sidenote the mention of PIRATE reminds me, has there been any news on that 30km hard limit on IRST?

Btw I found out why it “Floats” its due to low compression speed, if your IAS is under 1200 km/h when you turn, your aircraft would instantly turn into boat. You should do a hard turn while maintaining a high speed in order to hold the compression.
Rafale also suffers from this too, maybe way worser thanks to the STR nerf. I learned this after flying with F-16 that are pretty hard to “Boat” itself at altitude.
Don’t go for more than 7 KM altitude due to lower air pressure, your aircraft can turn, but at the cost it will instantly boat itself when you turn too hard. I felt this in Rafale too (I try to keep it still relevant to this topic don’t worry), due to how easy you can reach Mach 2, it’s also easier to turn yourself into a boat due to low air compression.
So my best strategy with EFT is fly at maximum 6 KM altitude in order to maintain good compression speed.
I can’t believe the Eurofighter’s BR is being raised to 14.3. In its current state, its performance in RB is on par with, or even inferior to, the 15E. RB BRs should be based on performance in the 16 vs 16 match format, not purely on the aircraft’s raw specifications.
I doubt that, MK1 and MK2 maybe, but we know the MK1 is a superior radar set.

Huh? Brimstone is compatible and iirc its integrated or at least started for German EFT’s.
If you want ASRAAM then make sure to deal with IRIS-T on German Typhoons, little not: You’re not gonna like 100G capable missile coming to your way.
50G, its already 50G in game and so far no one has been able to produce materials in order to get that raised.
Thats single plane, with dual plane it can surprass 50G easily and even if it doesnt 50G is more than enough to kill anything at any situation with TVC capabilities.
If you are so sure that the iris is 100g capable you surely have a source for that
