There is HMD brightness setting in controls options.
Weakest tws is probably f-14 that tws is horrendous

at least it keeps track of a target and you dont have to babysit the elevation
The f-14 also has some of the worst bar width/elevation on its tws scan I’ve ever seen, takes like 4 bars for a 6 degree scan, horrendous. It’s also well, probably the worst hdn radar in the game (pretty sure it’s worse than the f-4s hdn radar). Although yeah babysitting elevation for someone that doesn’t have manual controls is literally impossible so gl with early russian radars, although I’d rather get mprf that the Russians get. At least something like eurofighter at least gets mprf, although for some reason it doesn’t get a tws hdn for some reason?
I am enjoying PIRATE quite a bit lately.

Is firing AIM-120s by IRST a bug or intended?

gotta be a bug, not all radars with irst can fire their radar missiles through irst
I don’t know of an IRST in game other than PIRATE with ranging capability. Without a laser.

Correction, meant as an IRST without using a laser rangefinder, I know rafale probably should be able to do the same.

Is there any indication that Russian jets can fire their ARH missiles using IRST track data.
