I’ll check the other TWS GMTI radars this evening and get back to you. I’ll log a report after testing. Cheers.
Yeahh and imagine if it was also 18 SPEAR-3 fired from 148km away ahah.
Hmmm, didnt we had this issue allready on the dev? I cound swear I saw that allready before
We really need gamemode based loadout restrictions. Those things are really only a big problem in ground, but would be so fun in air ec/sim
Pantsir S2 players c.2028 watching their radar screen light up like a christmas tree
We had it in all modes, instantly after spawning, so abit different.
Close enough
i dont have other trees unlocked but the premium F18 in US tree as well as the F2A ADTW have TWS GMTI and neither have the same issue, it’s probably only with radars that just got GMTI in this patch
Thanks I’ll look into it.
edit;
Passed this to a developer.
When all top tier tanks have APS systems and the SAMs we have now. Pretty much kills most CAS that isnt Kh-38s
To think of it, MMW brimstones would be immensely funny against air targets considering they’re probably out of the RWR receiver bands of most jets.
18x mini amraam.
We have like 1 truely good sam system at top tier, very maybe the CLAWS and Pantsir are just close enough to count. Counting the Tan Sam, Spyder and CS/SA5 among those systems “ready to take on EFTs with MMW brimstones” is just a joke.
I gotta ask.
The EF claims to have five countermeasure programs. I’ve only seen 2 - the bursts of 4 flares and the intermittent chaff drops. What’s the other three, or does this mean something else? I dont get it.
Pantsir could probably handle one laden eurofighter…
now when three spawn, different story. Although gaijin could just make MMW brimstones cost a fortune in GRB so carrying more than like 6 is impractical without basically having a nuke.
Programs for threat types not programs for release patterns. So ARH, IR, SARH, Laser and SALCOS.
If it can identify SARH/laser/SACLOS why does it dump flares instead of responding correctly to each though? That feels wrong. I would expect chaff for SARH and n/a response for the last two.
Laser and SALCOS its using flares to beat the EO trackers guiding them. For SARH it kind of only works if the SARH missile isn’t too far from the beam of the guiding aircraft.
Hm. Is it worth bug reporting the SARH behaviour? It’s incredibly annoying to watch my flares get dumped over an R-27ER because it’s a couple degrees away from the launch aircraft.
Yeah you can do.
I’m so glad the radar performance is back to the way it was before TWS+
