Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

59 is kind of useless 90% of the time. You’d have a stronger case arguing the presence of agm84h makes storm shadow a sound addition. Especially with recent bug reports on its range being accepted.

~90 s to cover 100 km. Assuming it maintained the same performance throughout the entire flight (while ignoring the Meteor’s throttleable ramjet, by the way), it could just as easily remain under power well beyond 200 km, perhaps up to ~220 km as a very conservative estimate, before exhausting its fuel.

But storm shadow/Taurus has ample room for fitment on those inner pylons

He meant the fact landing gear folds in that direction

The landing gear is completely blocked, it is a limitation of the typhoons design that limits use of and carriage on the inner pylons.

That’s simple. They just put it there in-flight with a refueling plane.

I’m gonna need to see proof of 4x Taurus KEPD missiles. Half of this lists use theoretical loadouts which just spread misinformation and those are some massive weapons.

I’d love to be wrong cause 4x Taurus is super silly but if true God that could be so peak

It just shows location, not total carry able amount at one time

Ah, apologies then

But I have since fixed the diagram since mockup locations of inner pylons don’t count

Still no RBS-15, still funny the EF can likely only mount 2x of the RBS compared to the Gripen E, but I guess they have no real need for overkill Anti ship missiles tbf

Probably can add GBU-64s to it as well. GBU-62s were added based upon theoretical compatability and not any actual evidence of being mounted I think. So if it can mount 6x 1000lb GBUs then it can mount 6x GBU-64.

Also missing ePaveway IIs

Is that planned?

You are right, there is so many bombs, what’s up with that

Not yet at least. I think the plan though with P4E in general is a lot more future proofing and getting the red tape out of the way for the EFT. So even if its never purchased by any EFT nation, its ready if its needed.

Though it does look like MARTE-ER will be the ASM we’ll need to argue for the EFT at the moment (in-game)

Different nations using their prefered and usually pre-existing weapons.

Indias proposed EF also only has 2x RBS-15, looks like the EF might not be able to carry 4x like the E

Would be cool nonetheless, hand em over snail

Idk, given Germany tested it I guess you could argue for it, but I’d rather info be found stating if only Germany got it working or what state it was in.

I’m hoping that if there’s more vehicles with it then gaijin will finally add them for the AJ and Grippy. I need the MK.4 Gungnir to get a F model so I can use it as a cruise missile

This is in-part why I think MARTE-ER could be a good option instead. Also quantity over quality for a weapon like ASM is usually a factor in WT
