What nonsense is this haha, only station 3 can carry Storm Shadow / Taurus.
Also Twin ALARM pylons? it was to be carried on single rails. For six total.

I don’t suppose we could get the Yak-141 treatment for ALARM on Eurofighter? It being planned and all 👀
Yeah that isn’t happening ahah. Only station 3 can take that weight. Just a mock up for an air show as they have the bags on.
No thats the ALARM launcher;
No. The ALARM launch rail has a specially shaped front to interface with the ALARM data connector. That isn’t on the MFRL.
Also ALARM is over 100 kg heavier than AMRAAM.
Gotta take a look with AMK once again, since it is supposed to increase loadout weight
the meteor wasnt around 100s?

How about we just engage the mark 1 analogue cpu for as second here lads and look at the landing gear…
I don’t think burn time is known, but it can do 100km in 90s
Retracting landing gear?
Never heard of it
That’s fine.
Take-off, fire all 4 storm shadows, turn around and rearm to do it again. Who needs to retract their landing gear 😛
jettison the landing gear like on the ME-163
yeah! then you just un-jettison them when its time to land
Su-30/34s with GPS on Kh-38s be like:
no real reason apart from Air SB balancing why we couldnt have Storm shadow, could just make it a chunky 3000lb IIR missile, same can go for its equivalents, Kh-38 has more range than it ever really needs anyway, same goes for other long range ordnance, like GBU-39/53 (although not powered), hell we already have Kh-59 which has all the range it can desire, and is self-guided
oh yeah you can salvo fire these at multiple target points now, i hadn’t considered that
Solution obviously is to mount it whilst the gear is retracted.
Either retract the gear take off with a rocket system like the F-100 could or attach it mid flight.
youve heard of mid-air refuelling now get ready for mid-air rearming
Such a shame modern not-helicopter platforms don’t swim anymore.
the burn time is severely affected by the launch conditions, for some launches it’ll be under 100s for sure, and for some it might go above 100s
