74 cm is the inlet/fan diameter of the EJ200. There is no exact value about the diameter overall as it was never stated anywhere. The closest the EJ200 gets to another engine is the F414 (79 cm inlet/fan diameter) and the Snecma M88 (69 cm inlet/fan diameter) as it sits exactly inbetween.
The F110, F119 and F135 have nearly all the same outside diameter, but the fan inlet is substantial bigger. Rough numbers:
- F110
- Inlet: 91 cm
- Overall: 118 cm
- F119
- Inlet: 97 cm
- Overall: 122 cm
- F135
- Inlet: 109 cm
- Overall: 117 cm
So I would assume you could theoretically fit the F119 or F135 to an F-16 but you would have to redesign the whole air inlet and air guidance inside the plane including the engine attachement points to account for the bigger fan inlet.
My personal highlight would be a Gripen E with the EJ230 or another further developement of it as it’s smaller and lighter than the currently used F414 and has more thrust. With TVC it would be a damn neat plane.

Assuming those are quad EJ200s - they’d be an absolute nightmare to work on in that configuration - they (and the gearbox) get filled with oil during after flight servicing…. From fill points at the bottom/underside of the jet
