German premiums are better although the Italian MiG 29 would be the one for me if I was starting again.

I’d have thought that would be the most capable premium to get towards one of the three Typhoons

mmm, at least form my test flight testing with the american one, the F-18 feels kinda boaty imo, didn’t really feel comfortable reccomending it personally Plus kinda forgot about it lmao

ASB, then Harrier T-10, Harrier Gr1, Sea Vixen are all fairly decent grinders.
ARB, it gets a little tricky. T-10 is pretty solid but struggling with the Harrier nerfs at the moment. but you will be forced into a bit of a specific playstyle. But with the F-18s being 12.7, you shouldnt be dragged up too often.
But its a real shame we dont have something like a Premium Tonka or Buc

Do you mean the American prem F18? Cause the swiss one got the updgraded engines, so it should fly a bit better

Rafale is the benchmark. If Rafale is a 10/10
Typhoon is a 6/7 in line with or just above the Su-30SM.
Typhoon is fast and will turn well once/twice before it’s AOA/instructor engine thrust “feature” drains it off energy.
If Rafale is the 10 then Typhoon should be closer to 9.5 and it just isn’t
well the rafale is massively over-performing currently in str so i find it very hard to believe that the eurofighter, a plane that currently has near identical performance in game to the rafale, that has a very similar design and wingloading and twr isnt also over performing by some degree.

the issue here is that rafale is just in a different league to every other airplane rn, the performance gap between everything other than the rafale is close enough to where if the rafale was nerfed the game would actually be in a pretty healthy state balance wise. so making the ef just as good as the rafale is just going to make the game absolutely miserable for everyone who isnt in either an ef or a rafale. whats even worse is that the ef is 3 tech trees which basically means you are always going to be fighting them. the solution is not turbo buff the ef, that is only ever going to make the game worse.
