Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

Plz dont bug report 😅😂 jk lol

Hows the 120C on the live server?

If it switches to ir by it self (like you lock in ir, switch to pd but it stays in ir for some reason), it will still launch, vice versa for pd

well…

I deliberately used IRST, it stayed in IRST when i fired and maintained track and splashed.

Same as dev server, with the tiny difference that missiles are bugged xD

Yeah they changed it a while ago

Does it give guidance updates?

Did that miss or just do no damage?

Missiles are not doing damage around 50% of the time.

Also, has anyone noticed that the Typhoon’s nose authority is just… worse this update? It’s like the AOA limiter gets turned off partially when turning, as the plane keeps flopping around all over the place when doing any sort of hard turn.

I saw a video with Defyn and the F-2 just had the Typhoon on toast…

I just dont understand why Gaijin hate the Typhoon…It’s simple like the Rafale make it good and players wont complain and you wont need to rush to the F-35…But no Gaijin just keep being useless.

Was going to download the new update but now have zero interest

Yep they just don’t deal damage, luckily Smin said that a hotfix is in the works.

Sometimes the missile hit, but most times, at least from my games of today, they just explode.

Thats good then

the AOA button is bugged on everything rn

same goes for SAS modes in full real

hello, what is best british prem to get to the typhoon? interested in the big blocky mean monster :)

Britain doesn’t really have a good premium for high tier.
F-4J is terrible, Harriers are no good for air battles and the MiG 21 Bison is very over tiered :(

Don’t! None of the British air prems are particularly amazing (or Fun in the conventional sense). (Even my beloved Harrier T.10)

Harrier GR1 - No Flares, pretty much useless missiles, no radar or RWR, slow.
Harrier T.10 - 11.3 means a lot of uptiers to 12.3, slow with no radar missile (Though the flight performance can be fun, and it gets a boat load of CMs)
F-4J(UK) - Just kinda bad, tired radar and rear aspect only IR. Worse engines than TT phantoms. See’s uptiers to ARH land.
MiG 21 Bison - Tired airframe with good missiles but not alot of them, and good sensors. However gets uptiered to ARH land alot

wow its that bad…?
uuuuhhhhh well thanks i guess i wont touch british air tree xD

British tree is fun Spitfires are great and then the early jets are ok
Hunters and the like used to be great but as you climb up you end up facing MiG 23s in your F-4…and then Tornado, Gripen gives some brief respite but Darter missiles are poor.

And finally after hours upon hours you unlock the Eurofighter, you gaze and marvel at the sleek lines and unconventional designs.
You imagine what it is like having one of the best gen 4.5 at your finger tips.

You play a game and quickly realise it’s Radar is worse than the Gripen, it feels heavy and doesn’t really turn very well. Yes it’s fast and looks incredible but something about it feels off.
It’s not the apex 4.5 gen airframe you imagined it’s timid and weak and is easily bullied by it’s counterparts.

So yeah top tier Britain is a struggle and if the broken Eurofighter is the pay off…Well then it simply isn’t worth it.

Also top tier ground is also shocking and you might have seen Britain didn’t get a new SAM…so yeah have fun with that.

If you wanna play a Eurofighter, the German tree is probably your better bet, though I would ask elsewhere for reviews before you buy! Their MiG-21 seems fairly decent as a fighter, though I don’t have it. And if you prefer mud moving I’ve enjoyed their Tornado IDS a decent amount
