Ive been playing quite a few different aircraft with MAW and i have noticed MAW is super sketch. I think it may be spaghetti code but you know how the snail works. 9X is in the same boat ill do some testing with some buds later to check cause it may be all MAW and not just the EFT. Ill aslo check with non Datalinked IRIS-T to see if its not just 9X and maybe RB 98

Gripen E has the MAW copy pasted from the F111A and has holes and no CHAFF distinction so it may be gaijin coding
no. The angles are probably wrong, but sources dont exist so they are at the default setting. The MAWS has blind spots above and below.

Yep. I think some speculation it should be 60° instead of 45° but yeah, no top or bottom coverage. 3 emittors for the AESA MAWS, 1 in each wing and another in the tail

As it stands in game it makes more mistakes than correct responses. I’m still having it go off because of countermeasures sometimes despite that being “fixed” thrice.
They also need to allow for custom CM release patterns for MAWS.
Id have it spam out chaff, but I only want it to drop a fairly slow pattern of flares
There’s already a similar feature to this where you can select the timing of your countermeasures, doesn’t work though lmao
Yeah exactly. Though I also wish the periodic CM release had settings independent for Flares and Chaff and we had seperate keybinds for enable each, rather than having cycle selected CMs
Yeah, that would be extremely helpful, I also want them to add countermeasure series to the jets, because rapid tapping the countermeasure buttons is gonna break my keyboard someday.
Ive also wanted an accessibility setting so that the CM button can be toggled to just be press & hold

Oh nice, yeah, this is extremely helpful, having to tap the countermeasure button 4 times for the bol pod countermeasure just to have the same countermeasure effectiveness of one large caliber counter measure is ass, not to mention that the bol pod countermeasures lasts a lot less more that normal and large caliber countermeasures, so being able to hold the countermeasure button to rapidly release countermeasures would help. I hope the Devs add this, they should add this, especially if they don’t want to revert the bol pod countermeasure nerfs.
Technically its more like 22x iirc (assuming BOL is single release) for chaff
