Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

Do me a favor and just let the devs know how completely inept and incompetent they are. Thanks.

Guilty until proven innocent ahh radar logic

Let’s see what happens with su-30’s radar

AESA is obviously inferior to PESA

It received exactly the same nerf as ECRS did…

So… now, we are suppossed to grind for 400,000 RP, spend 2,000,000 SL and then another 500,000 RP and SL in modifications for… what exactly?

Just the new radar was already a small difference… but if it’s now going to be nerfed, then what’s the point of the thing?

It is allready Nerfed, and its still an huge improvement over the CAPTOR-M also, the Spice 250 is an neat extra, as Gunjob allready said, its still feels like an AWACS, you dont like it?
Than feel free to continue using the current EFs…

So sick of this to be honest, it’s the newest and best AESA Radar in the world.

Yet in game IRBIS has been in service since 2014
And it is somehow superior in every single metric. Despite Russian Radar technology being a generation behind.

The AESA on the Su-57 will be able to see through the fkin map

IRBIS being a 4-beam PESA too… compared to an AESA with (more than) 1600 TRMs…

3/4 of a million rp for the fire and forget ordinance we should have had from the start and a radar that isn’t totally blind.

Source?

Crap yeah it’s a PESA…It’s pure Russian cope.
Can we not use Su-35 combat footage showing how slow the Radar scans?

Ah, FnF, at last- But is it comparable to KH-38s, Mavericks, and whatever Rafale has? How does it compare?

It’s a joke honestly gaijin quite obviously don’t understand AESA radars

It’s a glide bomb so…

I feel best is a stretch (I suspect there’s a couple AWACS and naval installations that will disagree, also F-35.) but it’s definitely up there. No reason for a PESA to outperform it in any regard except maybe range through sheer plate diameter.

Combat footage? We got test videos of it in its long range mode (longer dwell time and small scan zone for longer range)
Also videos are unacceptable for bug reports regarding time as video footage can be altered

It’s probably the best AESA Radar.
It uses the rear processing unit for the F-35
It will be on the level of the APG-81

And being newer you could make the assumption it is one of the best.

Now, the substantially more important question…

Are they fixing the HUD? (UV Filter + not stretched)

I’d argue it’s better than all short of kh38 tbh. 600 second flight time and they come down at an 80 degree angle + they’re so small that pantsirs struggle to reliably intercept + sheer volume. I do like them.
