It’s probably the best AESA Radar.
It uses the rear processing unit for the F-35
It will be on the level of the APG-81
And being newer you could make the assumption it is one of the best.

Now, the substantially more important question…
Are they fixing the HUD? (UV Filter + not stretched)

I’d argue it’s better than all short of kh38 tbh. 600 second flight time and they come down at an 80 degree angle + they’re so small that pantsirs struggle to reliably intercept + sheer volume. I do like them.
Finally someone with some real stuff )))
But what about speed? I read they are bombs… so they will take 13 business days to reach their destination? Or are they fast, like the ones Rafale uses?
They’ll be relatively slow but that’s in line with the rest of Typhoon’s ground attack options
That is true its comparable going by trm count if not betterl because of better trm technology than apg 81 if excluding Mk0
Apg 85 tho thats nother beast
I see! Well, at least they are FnF, but I thought the C*S meta relied on fast missiles which reach their destination in time and are harder to intercept.
Fast and big stuff, or small weapons but an fair amount of them :)
They’re a nightmare to intercept cause there’s so many, they’re so small and they go to low earth orbit and come down vertical (which fortunately also means they reliably oneshot everything they hit)
Same patch ECRS was changed:

That we agree on
plus you can lob brimstones as decoys :D
The tricky bit of the Spice-250s will be the max drop speed of Mach 1 and getting the Typhoon slow enough, so for SEAD, we might still have to stick with lobbing PW4s, but with the Spice-250s, you can run 6x PW4s alongside 8x Spice-250s. or 6x Brimstones, +4x PW4s + 8x Spice-250s (dont think the spice racks conflict with the dual PW4s anyway)
But the FnF option is gunna be great, also for something like SB too
I already did that with paveways its hilarious watching them panic vs the 12 “rocket” in the air and ignore the 4 evil Mach 1.5 GNSS bombs coming for them
Actually, I have a question. Why don’t the MICA-EM and R-77-1 care about the “maximum lock-on angle before launch,” while the AIM-120 does? It flies by coordinates, after all. What difference does it make where the target is?
Because they were bug reported and received that ability
In my opinion, this limitation should have been absent from the start. That’s the whole point of LOAL.
Let’s then report that the missile has an engine. And a seeker. And that it can turn.
Lying soviets and Fr*nch that can’t hold secrets.
Perfect for war thunder.
120s data sheets use words like “improved” tracking and “improved” HOB capabilities.
Not enough to report on :(
clearly that means they all have same guidance. yk
