Just checked in game. J-11B = 1493. J-8F = 1492
but yeah, F-16 is wierd

good question. the GBU-53 also has a really long flight time so maybe that should be considered too. anyways, they already added the SPICE 250 so they should add its counterpart the GBU-53 soon too. ideally with mmw.
and if we have mmw gbu-53’s then we really cant deny mmw brimstone 2’s
itd be best to keep the status quoe rn of about 6 fire and forget weapons, that strikes a good balance of being effective while not being oppressive, obviously i expect MMW missiles to come sooner or later, as the next big jump in technology but as it is rn, its best not to
nah, they have to push forward eventually, and 6x fnf standard has been around forever. its really about time especially with all the additions like JAGM and SPICE 250
theres real no good reason anyone could propose to increase the ammount of agms carried, other than insanely large maps with more players, so any players lost is less detrimental
im sure people said the same when they went from bullpups and stuff to 6x Mavericks 4 and a half years ago
all limiting the number does is nerf nations that went for high carriage capacity
probably, but youd agree that 6 missiles is a bit different than 28
are they even really missiles? they are glide bombs with small warheads and at least a couple minutes flight time
im calling them missiles for the sake of simplicity, but there classification doesnt really change their potency or lethality, which has the potential to be far greater than anything we have in game
it does. it means range is fully depending on speed and altitude, mostly altitude, which is very risky now
even unpowered systems will have at least a few dozen km of range so its largely indifferent
No.
MMW is very deceiving. There are smokes that work at lower parts of it, around 36GHz, but chaff for 94GHz while in theory can exist, it is not used at all, as the workload that needs to be put into it, is not worth the effect.
That being said, gaijin should just add MMW seeker and add MMW blocking to the smokes and call it a day.
Though it would be fine if F&F weapons were rare ingame, they arent anymore so its pretty stupid some nations dont get access to F&F purely because they use a better type of seeker, its bad game design.
You are a troll, you have added no value to the discussion.
You have shown your biased and it’s a little boring now.
Various brochures for the Eurofighter list 18 Brimstones as a load out option. So Gaijin have presumably looked at the brochures, looked at the photo of it being done in the hangar, and concluded there is enough evidence to add it.
There also that picture of DA2 (I think) with 18 dummy Brimstones.
Honestly I don’t get all the fearmongers. Even if LOAL lobbing would be added and given gaijin’s usual implementation they would be good to pop rats, but nothing else. Especially they will be useless against SPAAs. Why? Remember your last match and the amount of dead tanks around you at any point of attraction on the map.
All the EF people want is an fnf munition, that’s it. And given that soviets have the best munition interceptor in the game (second place goes to china) - it shouldn’t be an issue even from gaijin’s ru players handholding policy.
Bc the J-11B has a different radar from the normal J-11 or the Su27
J-8F
Funniest thing: There is no Brimstone version without mmW seeker. The current Brimstone 1 in-game had mmW only in reality. The SAL capability was implemented alongside in the Brimstone Dual-Mode (later variant of the Brimstone 1) which has mmW and SAL. Brimstone 2 and 3 are mmW + SAL too so realistically speaking: All versions of the Brimstone have mmW but only the versions after the first one have SAL. They effectively created a non-existend version (SAL only) of the version of the missile (Brimstone 1/Dual Mode) which was never used on the EF.
